My Score (out of 5): ****1/2
Simply put, this film was absolutely brilliant. It took everything you THINK is known about murder mysteries and flipped it on its head. It was suspenseful and you truly had no idea what to expect. The format deviated from the norm of that genre and every character was allowed a spotlight at some point or another.
Not sure why we needed Daniel Craig doing a Colonel Sanders impression the whole time but other then that is was good. I also thought it dragged a bit in the middle.
I really can't say enough positives about the writing of this film and the acting was also great. It incorporated real world issues in a not blatant and irritating way.
P.S. Jamie Lee Curtis unproblematic queen.
Biggest Positive:
Incredible writing with a breath of fresh air breathed into a very tired movie genre
Biggest Negative:
A bit too long, some scenes could've been cut entirely and the movie would've remained at this spot.
