Last year I ranked every movie I saw in theaters and this year I'm doing it again!
**IMPORTANT REMINDER: In order for a movie to qualify for this countdown I need to have seen it in theaters (not Netflix, Redbox, etc) between 1/1/18 and 12/31/18. This means that even tho a movie may have been released in 2017, as long as I saw it in theaters in 2018 it'll qualify**
Ok SO. In all honesty, I thought this movie was going to be a bag of flaccid dicks because the format reminded me of Unfriended which I hated. However, I must say this was a masterpiece. It kept you on the edge of your seat the whole time and you really didn't know who did it or what happened. It did the "shot on a computer" theme much much better then Unfriended. The acting deserves applause too especially from John Cho. It felt like you were genuinely watching a fathers decent into madness rather then an actor playing a father descending into madness (if that makes sense). Bravo! I know it was extremely profitable but I hope they keep it as a standalone film.

Another one on my list to watch. I had the same sentiments when the movie came out, whereas I thought it was just gonna be another skype/social media/modern technology movie, but I heard very good reviews of it, and I actually caught a glimpse of it, and it didn't look bad!
