Last year I ranked every movie I saw in theaters and this year I'm doing it again!
**IMPORTANT REMINDER: In order for a movie to qualify for this countdown I need to have seen it in theaters (not Netflix, Redbox, etc) between 1/1/18 and 12/31/18. This means that even tho a movie may have been released in 2017, as long as I saw it in theaters in 2018 it'll qualify**

Ant-Man & The Wasp
Rotten Tomatoes Score: 88%
Good news! We've now reached the movies that I throughly enjoyed!
This was a pretty good movie, this one was released while the buzz around Infinity War was still around so going into this there was a little bias of "this'll be great!" And it was! Good humor mixed with action. Helped explain why Ant-Man & The Wasp weren't present in Infinity War. While the "uh oh we have an issue but don't worry I know a solution!" Was really overdone I think the plot was solid
One major flaw in the movie, however, was a lack of a villain. You can tell the writers had no clue what to do for the villain role. At first it was Ghost but when you think about it her motives were totally understandable and far from villainous. Sonny Burch was also a really random guy that the audience had no reason to believe could do whatever his goal was.
Have you seen Ant-Man & The Wasp?
What'd you think?

Very funny and not much substance, as I expected. I really enjoyed the movie and was very entertained, but like you said, there really was no villain, which was a major flaw. It was clearly a setup movie for End Game. I liked it though, for what it was haha. I also love Paul Rudd.
