Last year I ranked every movie I saw in theaters and this year I'm doing it again!
**IMPORTANT REMINDER: In order for a movie to qualify for this countdown I need to have seen it in theaters (not Netflix, Redbox, etc) between 1/1/18 and 12/31/18. This means that even tho a movie may have been released in 2017, as long as I saw it in theaters in 2018 it'll qualify**

Star Wars The Last Jedi
Rotten Tomatoes Score: 91%
This movie was pretty much one big slap in the face to Day 1 Star Wars fans. Growing up I was obsessed with Star Wars (I was born in '99 so I'm far from a Day 1). It's increbdly obvious that this once iconic franchise is being milked.
Sadly, none of these new generation characters click with me. Not Rey, Not Finn, Not Kylo Ren, Not Rose. Some of them aren't bad per say but compared to Luke, Leia, Anakin, Padme, Darth Vader they fall short. The CGI Carrie Fisher was too much, just let the character go...
I know it was meant as sort of a "passing the torch" movie but after the ending (which I will not spoil) I really have no interest in any future films (still haven't seen Solo). Oh well.
Have you seen The Last Jedi?
What'd you think?

#12: Star Wars The Last Jedi
MJFJUNE the kiss scene between her and Finn was literally the worst on screen kiss I have ever seen LMAO such a pointless relationship that did not engaged a single viewer
I saw this and I actually... liked it? I felt there were some unexpected moments that made the movie a bit more unpredictable, and it played the "no one is safe" mantra to an extent as well. Oh, and the Kylo Ren and Luke Skywalker scene actually had beautiful scenery, and there was one quote from the movie Luke said that I thought was pretty hilarious.
That being said, I do agree that it was a slap in the face to Day 1 Star Wars fans.
