Who have taken a Statistics class? I have to take one next semester for my degree but I'm trash at math so I'm nervous :///////// I took, and failed, Geometry in high school but I'm in an Algebra class rn and I'm doing ok.
My friends who are all political science/pre-law/foreign relation majors all take Statistics as their math class. It's definitely the easiest math class by far as its just memorizing formulas and knowing when to use them. I'd recommend ensuring you get a good professor and not a lunatic who will make an easy class harder than it should be.
agreed with icarus_mark, the others are lying. It's hard, formulas u never seen below, symbols u never seen before.. a lot of problem solving.. takes forever... and a lot of memorization forsure!
I love math and this class is annoying me, I have a 85% rn though.
i agree with vixens, find a good professor for it. i had to take two terms of it for my major and it was really easy. all assignments and exams were done at home so we got to google anything we didnt know lmfao. obv you might not be that lucky but find a good professor
I ain't lying lmao. I take way harder computer science math classes with multiple page proofs and other random shit. As I said if its regular stats a 100 level math class and you can do basic algebra you will be fine. Unless you're taking some weird 300-400 level stats class you're going to be fine
I took it my sophomore year(?) Can't remember when, but I did take it. I hated it, mainly because I hate math lol and my professor was a pain. Ended up getting a C in it
