I always stan the messy people and she is primetime mess. She can be whiny but her whole im at the bottom i wanna flip save me im harmless edit is so funny to me
I love her because she’s so fascinating and interesting! She’s definitely unique as a character. I find myself so infatuated whenever she talks about her Indian culture and how that relates to the game of Survivor since we’ve really never seen this perspective in history. The story of how she feels weird wearing little clothes cause most of her culture dresses super conservative and how she was basically put in an arranged marriage and how she’s really not with “the one” but she lives through that daily. It’s so fascinating and eye-opening.
On top of that she’s an entertaining, messy character. Her cutting her hand and saying that the whole tribe is dead to her for not helping her gave me Abi 1.0 vibes and I love me some Abi 1.0. Then last episode when she talked about how she’s gotten votes TWICE now and how that’s irritating...it gave me Abi 2.0 vibes and I love me some Abi 2.0 as well. She’s also kinda paranoid but I’m a funny way of “I’m not going without a fight at tribal”.
I also think her gameplay is super underrated. Like yes she sucks at the challenges but she really can’t fix that, especially not overnight. So, her only way of survival is to avoid the vote...and that’s what she’s done for 3 straight tribals. Yes she may be seen as a future FTC goat but people usually boot the challenge liabilities when it’s still final 18, 17, and 16 (when she got booted) cause even still currently at final 15, we have 2-3 more boots until the merge. So, the fact she has been scathing by even though all odds are against her shows how UTRgood she is at the game. She made strong enough ties with the girls and used fake whispers at tribal council to convince Vince he was safe, resulting in him not using the idol and leaving. She created a strong enough tie with Missy for Missy to basically expose her game to save Karishma. Now this swap, she flipped and went to the correct person (Kween Kellee) and was able to bond and bring up good points as to why to keep her (she’ll be 100% loyal) whereas Tom didn’t and seemed very Lairo Strong. She’s made ties and have made good reasons to stay. Yes the “woe is me I suck but I can be an extra vote for you” angle may be tiring to some but I respect it cause what else is she supposed to do? Volunteer to be voted out? Quit? No...people would dislike her even more than that. She’s fighting and surviving and we stan!

I also loved how she has some sort of awareness when she said that likability is a liability in this game. That’s another thing. Karishma is very aware of things even though she can be very messy at times. Yes she can be OTT and messy at times but it’s always backed up on-screen. She cuts her hand and says no one tried to help her? Well the camera DID cut to her alone on the beach crying while the rest of the tribe were away from her not caring. Dean says they need to split votes? She says it’s going to be her...and it was. The edit is really subtle in siding with her but it’s there.
