Is there a trick in using web archive?

I’m trying to use it and look at old stuff on tengaged but it seems it only saved certain things and not every page.

Is there a trick to it or is that basically it

People have to manually save pages.

The archive only saves pages when a person asks it to, other than when it does a random internet crawl.  So most things aren’t archived, but many of it has been over the years.
