So Friday night was a normal night for me, I went out with friends and got super drunk and about 2am, as we always do, we go from one club, to the next club as it stays open until 6am.
We went around the corner to the next club, to find the entire road, taped/being taped up by uniformed police. I went up and asked an officer what was going on, but he could not give any details.
My friend was actually already in the club and they were not letting anyone leave OR go inside. It was like an entire road in Norwich. So at this point we had to just kinda get in a taxi and go home.
So basically me and my friend were literally the first on scene/to hear about this.
SO CRAZY as I was actually standing there watching them tape it up, literally me/my friend/police officers.
Anyway it was plastered all over the news the next day and even made national headlines.
Turns out someone was fatally stabbed and murdered in the car park directly opposite that club, 11 minutes before we decided to leave one club and go to the other (I know the exact time because I rang a taxi the second I knew we couldn't get in). It really does show you that if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time ANYTHING could happen. It could have been me or my mate, we were very very drunk.
RIP to the man who was murdered and to his family who had him taken, it must be horrific.
