So during this quarintine my Mum has been trying her best to help other people as much as she can like my Nan who recently has had an operation on her knee so she struggles to walk now and my neighbour who also struggles to get about and several others by getting them packages of food every now and again
She is struggling a bit for money but wanted to help people and there are food banks throughout the city and had been going there to top up the boxes and putting stuff back for people to take when she had the chance.
Now I remember she phoned me one day panicking because there was someone following her around while she was driving and couldn't get rid of them. She later found out this is someone who had been seeing her going to the food banks and was taking down her number plate and taking photos.
That person later put on a post on facebook group for coronavirus awareness that she was a " greedy thieving pig" who was taking everything from the food banks.
There were so much outrage from the post that they tracked her car and a group of people went to her old work to try and confront her.
I'm so angry that someone jumped to a conclusion and twisted the truth and people are so gullable that they bought into it and tried to attack my Mum who is honestly the most lovely and kind person I know.
The gag of the season is that the person who reported her got done for stealing the next week and has a long police record of trying to cause public disturbance.
I only found out about this today when speaking to her and it made my blood boil so I needed to rant somewhere to get it out.

It is crazy how someone's act of kindness can be so badly twisted. At least that person got their comeuppance.
