and am much closer to him than I am with #Marlakk but I will sit here and defend the truth that Marlakk is not a pedophile. I don't agree with what he said because it was to a minor, but he is someone who jokes around even if the JOKE is fucked up. I think people should only be banned if it were something with a continuous pattern. What he said was dumb, but I don't believe he legitimately meant it and there have been no further accusations made against him. I don't believe that Bryan thinks he's a pedophile, I think that he just doesn't like him. Sigh.
I'm not even close with him, but everyone knows he is not a pedophile like stop. Like the comments were dumb, but like he is obviously not a pedo or more people would have spoken up about this it was not a continuous thing it was one comment as a joke. brandonpinzukoolness234 and I agree it was inappropriate, but the should not be permanently removed.
Just checking, you are the same person who was trying to cancel me a month ago for aligning with a kid in a game, yes?
That said, there are lots of in betweens. Obviously Marla is not a flat out pedophile but that doesn't mean the comments weren't inappropriate to make to a minor. It's still good to have a system in place where sexual comments to a minor are not allowed, regardless of if they are serious or meant to be jokes.
Is there anymore to the story besides "kiss me" and "id smash"? A 20 saying that to a 17 year old is not pedophilia, predatory, or worthy of a permanent ban and that's a hill I'll die on.
Lemjam do you hear yourself? My "inappropriate behavior" is being friendly to people. I do not understand how you can claim I do anything wrong, but simultaneously claim someone who said they'd smash a 17 year old DIDN'T do anything wrong.
If there's all there is to the story (which I'm having a hard time believing is the case given the permanent ban), then I don't really see how Eilish can claim that he's the "victim" of anything given the context of the conversation that was posted. If a 20-year-old college sophomore texts a 17-year-old college freshman "id smash" or "kiss me", they're not going to get kicked out of the university, and a judge isn't going to convict them of pedophilia due to the negligible age difference between 17 and 20.
We have plenty of actual fully grown adults knowingly grooming children they know are under 18. If we start getting to the point where someone 18 years and 1 day old gets permanently banned over sending a 17 years and 364 days old "kiss me" over Skype...
