His character was obviously short-lived on the show, but I can't help but love a dark storyline. I connected with Campbell from the start and following his one-season journey was really sad. I loved his relationship with Maya and it was heartbreaking to see him kill himself.
33. Manny Santos (Degrassi seasons 1-9)
I know this will be wildly unpopular because she seems to be a fan fave, but I don't think she's all that. I certainly like Manny and I stanned her abortion arc so hard, but I thought she was kind of a meninist cunt sometimes. I was definitely Team Ashley over Manny when they were fighting over Craig and I was often Team Emma over Manny. I was happy her and Jay ended up together because I do like Manny, I just don't think she's the best character on the show like some people seem to. She was pretty immature in the early seasons it was nice to see her grow up.
32. Joey Jeremiah (Junior High seasons 1-3, High seasons 1-2, Degrassi seasons 2-5)
I love Joey! I watched The Next Generation first and I stanned him from the start. He was a great father figure to Craig and I shipped Joey and Caitlin SO HARD. It still makes no sense to me why the producers didn't make them end up together like what? That's probably the most confusing ending to a storyline for me. I liked Joey in the original series, too, he was just a goofball and he was always a rootable guy.

Campbell’s whole storyline is so sad especially his last episode when he’s finally getting in a good spot with Maya and then when he’s waiting to surprise her at school, that douche (was it Zig? I forgot who said it) told him that he’d be better off dead basically so then Campbell killed himself cause he believed those words 💔💔💔
If it was Zig, then ew at him being above Campbell.
