The higher up you are, the more clearly you’re a hero. The lower you are, the more clear it is you’re a villain. Then there’s the in-between; the closer to the middle you are the less definitive it is that you’re a hero/villain, at least compared to the others who have commented.
Note: think of relative distance to the labels, not which label you fall under. Just because your name is listed under “overtly heroic” doesn’t mean I see you as overtly heroic. The closer you are to neutral, the more neutral I see you; however I might see you as slightly more heroic, and thus place you under “hero,” but close to the neutral line.
