Race to Black IV plans from 2018 lol

Jul 18, 2020 by KrisStory
Found this in my old documents on my computer lmao. Too bad this website isn't in the state to have such a competition.

Race to Black IV: Survival of the Fittest
It has been six years since Race 2 Black 2 was hosted by jubbzy. It has been three years since Race to Black 3: The Amazing Race was hosted by Johneh. Brought to you by KrisStory and admin, we are pleased to announce that we are bringing you Race to Black IV!
The theme for Race to Black IV is Survival of the Fittest. While in school, we all learned about the food chain in the animal kingdom. The trophic pyramid is the best representation of how this game will work. At the bottom level is the least elite life – plants, which are consumed by all. The next level is the herbivores, then secondary consumers, tertiary consumers, and so on until there is only the apex predators – those who are most elite and have no natural predators. At each trophic level, there is less and less competition.
For Race to Black IV, this same logic applies. Only a certain number of people can make it to each color level. If one does not make it to the next color level before the others, or “grab” a color level before others – like in musical chairs – they are eliminated from Race to Black IV. For example (unofficial):
-        White level has 50 people. Only the first 40 to yellow level continue.
-        Yellow level has 40 people. Only the first 30 to orange level continue.
-        Orange level has 30 people. Only the first 20 to light green level continue.
-        Light green level has 20 people. Only the first 15 to green level continue.

This twist differs from those of the past in that there is not a deadline to reach the next color level. Instead, the deadline is based on the success of your competition. Don’t expect the deadlines to last any longer than they have in past RTB competitions though. The game will still be FAST, which will show who the truly elite players are – the apex predators.
Lastly, of course, first to black level wins.

General Rules:
-        Always be on the look out for R2BIV blogs by myself or KrisStory. We will announce everything through this platform and the information in the blogs will be necessary to continuing in the game, as well as for keeping up with your competition. You may even be able to grab an advantage in the blogs page if you are a quick enough predator!
-        Upon signing up (sign-ups will be announced in a separate blog), one must inform Admin or KrisStory (host) about their admission to the game. After you have received word from one or the other, you can create your account. After the account is created, please log out of the account, mail KrisStory or Admin the name of the account, and wait for the game to begin.
-        Once the game begins, you are NOT allowed to log back into your account. Doing so will result in disqualification, as well as a ban to your original account.
-        There will be a racer confirmation blog. Make sure you are on this blog before the game starts or you will lose your chance at participating.
-        Account names are encouraged to be inspired by the animal kingdom, but not required. For example, account names are preferred to be as such: “TheLion” or “TheTiger” or your spirit animal if you wish. Only one animal per person though!
-        There will be plenty of special games that occur throughout the race. They will not be announced until later. They include special survivor games, special frookies, and special fasting that have T prizes that will help propel you above your competition. Beware of the twists in the games though, they will be announced before, and you will have to determine whether or not taking the risk of playing the special game is smart! There may very well be consequences for the losers.
-        When you reach a new level, you MUST blog it and mail it to KrisStory. It is necessary to blog and mail because only a certain number of slots are open for each color level, and if you don’t blog or mail, its impossible to know who was first. Save yourself the trouble and follow this rule because we can’t catch everything without your help.
-        There is no rule against telling others who you are, but it’s frowned upon. The mystery makes it more fun for you and it’ll make it easier for you to work with new people.
-        If you log into your old account within the first 48 hours of the race, you will receive a t-deduction penalty. Don’t quit early on, chances are it wont take long to get eliminated if you don’t want to play anyways.
-        Buying T’s will NOT be allowed during this competition. If you are caught buying T’s, then you will be disqualified from the competition.
-        Lastly, more rules will be determined as needed as the game continues. Patience is a virtue.
