Night 1 Battles Notes:

1. Sorry for being late, I just moved out and I've been busy all week moving shit lmao.
2. I thought this was a good night of battles tbh. None of the battles were CRAZY good, but they were all pretty good at least.
3. Jej is fucking incredible lmao. His voice is so clear and beautiful...I loved his performance here. I thought him and Beth sounded really well together, and I think he complimented her voice very well. I loved their performance.
4. Shawn and Matthew were really fun and entertaining! I didn't think it was a stellar performance, and I think they held back a lot, but their energy was amazing and they were great together.
5. Savannah and Maelyn were great too, but I kinda wish Maelyn sang that song alone instead of in a battle lol. They both sounded good, but it's just kind of a weird song for a battle IDK.
6. Ugh, I loved Mikaela and I'm really sad that she didn't get stolen :/ I think the Bundy's are cool, but they didn't WOW me in this battle. I'm upset that Mikaela is already gone :(
7. Domenic and Trey were good, but it wasn't anything special. Domenic definitely stood out between the 2 tho.
8. Gyth and Rod sang really well together, and I didn't dislike their performance. I'm not the biggest country fan, so that's why their performance was the most lackluster to me, but I really liked some of the parts of their performance.
