Night 5 Auditions Notes:

1. This episode was okay. Not as good as the other ones, but not bad.
2. OneUp was obviously the most popular performance of the night, but we can't just forget about the performance Natalie put on....She was incredible and I always get so hopeful when we get an actual good rock singer on the show. Hopefully she can keep the intensity throughout the show!
3. Even though I thought Natalie had the best performance of the night, I'm most excited about OneUp. I thought they were really good, especially as performers, and especially when they were singing together, rather than solo. I still thought they were great by themselves, but they were way better as a duo. I am really excited to have a duo on the show that is inspired by Motown music.
4. Zaxai was pretty good. Very solid performance...not much else to say though.
5. Erika wasn't bad. I like that Dua Lipa song, and I thought she did a pretty good job. A bit shaky in some areas, though.
6. Kirk Jay wasn't bad, but that song is so cheesy. Also, I didn't think there was anything THAT special about his performance. But since people have only ever heard of one black male country singer, they are going to rave about this guy until he makes the finale and loses to a white country artist.
7. I thought Mike Parker was meh. I think he has a good voice, I just didn't think his performance was that showing of how good he was.
8. I was kind of annoyed by Joey's voice, and I've heard much better covers of Baba O'Riley on the show, so we're just gonna have to wait and see what he does during the battles.
9. Jarred's voice isn't bad...but his falsetto needs help....a lot of help....lol. Also someone in the Youtube comment section said he looks like handsome squidward, and I'm dead.
10. Kayley was a intriguing short performance. I wish we got to see more, though.
11. Colton's audition was cut so short it was hard to judge him on anything lol.
