First off, thank you to every single person who has been supporting me this week. The mails, messages, blogs, comments, everything... thank you so much! It really means a lot to me.
When the game started, I focused on immediately creating connections to different people and making my way into alliances. GentlemanG and phonee were my two closest allies from the start, but I knew I needed to be close to the duo of Maxi1234 and AmandaBynes as they had connections that I could use to my advantage. Early on, shawnpat7 was really the only person actively working against our majority alliance so I locked in a split for 13th to take him out as he was the biggest threat to me at that point. As we progressed, our alliance of course began to divide and I realized I wasn't in as good of a spot as I thought, especially when Ray was taken out for 9th. After Maxi and Bynes lied to phonee and locked him in for 7th, we made the move and put them up for 6th. I assumed this would lead to us going up for 5th but it was a move that needed to be made. That king Donny threw the poll to me for 5th (thank you so much ily <3) and Maxi and I agreed to keep other safe at final 4 and lock our finals spots. I could go much more in depth about my gameplay and why I feel I ran this game, but I know it's not particularly important to most people (understandably so.)
Now I sit here in the final three and I'm going to be honest, I know my odds of taking the win are not high. However, we all know how much I want to win a Stars. It's a personality trait on here for me at this point LMAO. This is my 5th finals and like 35th (or some other ungodly number) time playing Stars and I've yet to win. I frequently hear that it's time to give it up if I still haven't won after all these years but like, what's the fun in that? At the end of the day, win or lose, I do actually enjoy playing Stars and find it to be a more interesting game than most of the others on the site.
I genuinely appreciate any votes to win. Just seeing people support me and my main goal on Tengaged feels amazing. I've met so many great people over the years and I'm so thankful for everyone I can call my friend.
Lastly, good luck to all the players enrolled into Dynamic Duos! I'm so excited to watch it unfold; I imagine it will be a great week. :)
