when you take a shower do you

A: Just jump into the shower and turn the water on and let it heat up while you are in it

or

B: Start the shower and wait outside of it for it to heat up and then go in.

I have always done B i have never ever done A, i have such a strange memory of when i was 6 somebody told my parents (a psychologist i think) that waiting for the shower to heat up is a sign of schizophrenia??? which is like the most insane thing i have ever heard so i need to know if this is actually a debate or of i am truly insane
