*Saint and Vyx stare at each other, in silence*
Vyx - “So you came looking for me… what do you want to talk about?”
Saint - “I didn’t say I was looking for you, I said I knew you’d be here.”
Vyx - “This was my place, not yours.”
Saint - “It was ours.”
Vyx - “No, don’t act like you were one to share.”
Saint - “Sam-”
Vyx - “You don’t know what I’ve been through.”
Saint - “I went through it too, but I never lost track of where I am in life.”
Vyx - “Oh, but haven’t you?”
Saint - “Don’t try to do that reverse psychology shit, Sam.”
Vyx - “Don’t call me Sam.”
Saint - “That’s your name.”
Vyx - “My name is Vyx.”
Saint - “No, it isn’t.”
Vyx - “I don’t want to talk to you.”
Saint - “Well, I found you. And you can’t stop me from talking.”
Vyx - “You can stop me from... not listening.”
Saint - “You left me… abandoned me. You ran away from ME… how are you the one who gets to be pissed?”
Vyx - “Of course you’d be closed minded enough to believe that. Changing history when it didn’t ACTUALLY go down that way.”
Saint - “Oh? What do you have to say for yourself?”
Vyx - “When our parents abandoned us, how do you perceive what happened?”
Saint - “I never gave up hope, and the Protectors found me. You ran right to the X’ers.”
Vyx - “I tried to talk to you. I tried to make you see.. Becoming an X’er was worth it… if we could be together. You called me a freak, you called me a horrible person. You tried to make me feel bad about myself for taking an opportunity to have a home. And you. Abandoned. Me. I gave you an option to be with me, but you wouldn’t take it, because you thought you were better than that.”
*Saint shakes her head, annoyed*
Vyx - “Do you have anything to say for yourself?”
Saint - “You changed.”
Vyx - “But I never abandoned you.”
Saint - “You left me no choice.”
Vyx - “And you left me.”
*Saint shakes her head*
Vyx - “No matter how you try to spin it… you… left… me…”
Saint - “Screw you. You know it isn’t that simple.”
Vyx - “But it’s funny… when you told your friends at The Protectors about it… you tried to make it seem that simple.”
*Saint is silent*
Vyx - “You paint me as the villain…. But Aurora… you’re a liar.”
Saint - “What are you doing here, Sam?”
Vyx - “This was my place. As you said.”
Saint - “When everything went wrong you came here. What’s going wrong this time?”
Vyx - “The war coming.”
Saint - “What war?”
Vyx - “If you came to find me… you know we aren’t just going to coexist for much longer.”
*Saint exhales, biting her bottom lip*
[THE PROTECTORS.]
*OUTSIDE THE PROTECTOR’S BUILDING*
Cinzi - “I can handle Jekyll. Storm talk to Storm.”
*Light Storm nods, walking to Dark Storm*
Light Storm - “Hello, brother.”
Dark Storm - “I didn’t know you considered me a brother, judging by how you’ve treated me.”
Light Storm - “Are you serious?”
Dark Storm - “Oh, please. Where’s the lie? You don’t even talk about me anymore.”
Light Storm - “I came out here to look for you. Ithemba found you. That’s why I’m here. I want to talk to you.”
Dark Storm - “Well, it’s too late for that.”
Light Storm - “What do you mean?”
Dark Storm - “You can’t just make this all better because you want to.”
Light Storm - “I didn’t want to make things better I wanted to talk.”
Dark Storm - “About what?”
Light Storm - “Shit, man. I don’t know. One of us could be dead tomorrow, I didn’t want one of us to die without actually talking.”
Dark Storm - “Might be sooner than you think.”
Light Storm - “What do you mean?”
Dark Storm - “You knew… it was gonna happen sooner or later.”
Light Storm - “What?”
Dark Storm - “Oh, you know by now.”
Light Storm - “No, I don’t.”
Dark Storm - “Why else would you want to talk to me? I’m not going to hold back on you.”
Light Storm - “You’re making absolutely no sense.”
Dark Storm - “The Protectors? The X’ers? We weren’t going to live next to each other forever.”
Light Storm - “What are you implying?”
Dark Storm - “Well, for now… I just want Jekyll gone… and then Mileena. After that… you’ll just have to wait and see.”
Light Storm - “You’re just saying a bunch of shit that makes no sense or has any correlation.”
Cinzi - “Oh, my god.”
Light Storm - “What?”
Cinzi - “There’s going to be a war.”
*Jekyll nervously looks at Dark Storm and quickly turns into a crow, flying away*
*Cinzi sighs and shuts her eyes, and then opens them, looking at the sky, shooting a laser into the crow’s wings, but only slightly wounding it as it flies into the distance. Cinzi shuts her eyes again and exhales, rubbing her eyes*
*As Light Storm comforts Cinzi, Dark Storm sneaks away*
Cinzi - “Maybe Marjorey was right. We should’ve handled The X’ers when they weren’t expecting us.”
Light Storm - “No. We made the right decision.”
Fuerza Mística walks out of the building - “Hey, guys. What happened?”
Cinzi - “It didn’t go well.”
*They all walk back inside, sitting at the table with Ithemba*
Cinzi - “I think we need to be concerned with the big picture.”
*Vexell walks inside*
Vexell - “What'd I miss?”
Cinzi - “I think we need to start preparing for the worst.”
Light Storm - “My brother implied that… the Protectors and the X’ers aren’t going to be casually living in the same city for much longer.”
Cinzi - “A war may be coming.”
Vexell - “We have the numbers and we are just as strong as them, that shouldn’t be a problem.”
Cinzi - “We think.”
Vexell - “I think if we are well prepared, they can’t take us. We just gotta be on the defense at all times.”
Light Storm - “Do we want to be on the defense at all times, though?”
Vexell - “I already am.”
Fuerza Mística - “I think… that we can’t talk about this without… Percy or Genevieve. They would know how to prepare for it.”
Cinzi - “They’d try to discourage us from fighting back. We can’t let them stop us. This is serious.”
Fuerza Mística - “But… they’re our superiors.”
Cinzi - “Well, now.. We got to be superior.”
*Fuerza Mística shrugs nervously*
Ithemba - “Well, first… we have to wait for them to handle Mileena.”
*IN THE WOODS*
*Kitana, Jade and Marjorey stomp through the woods, searching for Mileena, as they hear racketing footsteps in the bushes*
Kitana - “Marjorey, clone yourself and see who that is. We got your back.”
*Marjorey closes her eyes, and a second version of her appears next to her*
Jade - “So, if your clone dies… you don’t die, correct?”
Marjorey - “Yep.”
Kitana - “Tell us what you see.”
*Marjorey goes through the trees and leaves, following the noises, quickly noticing Europa and Actus Mortis*
Europa - “Stand back.” *raises his hand up*
Actus Mortis - “You’re just gonna kill her?”
Marjorey - “You don’t have to do that. I’m not with Mileena, and something tells me that’s who you’re looking for. I’m looking for her, too.”
Europa - “Why should we trust you?”
Marjorey - “Because, why wouldn’t you?”
Actus Mortis - “Wait, how do you know Mileena is in these woods?”
Marjorey - “I assume you know who I am?”
Europa - “Marjorey Candiss, Protector. We are well aware of your heroic actions.”
*PyroBolt and Poison Kisses run over from behind a corner, standing by Europa and Actus Mortis*
Marjorey - “Oh, they’re new.”
PyroBolt - “Who’s this?”
Poison Kisses - “It’s Marjorey Candiss. One of the most empowered Protectors there is.”
Marjorey - “The more we talk, the more chance Mileena has of getting away. We need to work together and track her down.”
*IN A PARKED CAR*
*Sensor, Alexa Rose and Violeta sit in a car together, parked outside the woods*
Alexa Rose - “Why are we waiting in a car? This is so lame.”
Violeta - “We are back up. Jade and Kitana are the ones beefing with Mileena, they have a right to decide how they want to handle it.”
Alexa Rose - “But, I don’t… DO… back up. I don’t follow shit. I am a leader.”
Sensor - “Alexa, you need to calm down.”
Alexa Rose - “No, this sucks. We follow them and we don’t even get to contribute?”
Violeta - “Alexa, you’re kind of being a bitch.”
Alexa Rose - “Excuse me for wanting to actually DO something besides wasting my time.”
*Violeta takes her handgun out, and tosses it to Alexa Rose*
Violeta - “I won’t stop you from going. But always have protection.”
*Alexa stares at the handgun, making sure it’s loaded*
Violeta - “I assume you know how to use it?”
Alexa Rose - “Obviously.” *opens the car door, sighs and leaves the car*
Sensor - “Why would you give her your gun?”
*Violeta takes another gun out of her purse, and points it at Sensor’s head*
Violeta - “I always got back up with me.” *puts gun back in her bag*
Sensor - “You didn’t have to point it at my head, but okay.”
*IN ANOTHER PARKED CAR*
*Eden sits alone, annoyed*
*Tlaloc and Night Woman open the door and sit in the back seat, next to him*
Eden - “Hi.”
Night Woman - “We figured it must be awfully lonely in here. So… hi.”
Eden - “Thank you.”
Tlaloc - “Do you think they can handle this themselves?”
Eden - “I saw Alexa Rose going out there… we know she’s tough. If the 3 can’t do it, she can.”
*IN A CAR, DRIVING DOWN THE STREET*
*Neuron, Disturbia Killer and The Green Witch are searching for Mileena. The Green Witch is driving*
Neuron - “Do you sense anything, Disturbia?”
Disturbia Killer - “Nothing.”
The Green Witch - “We really need to hurry up.”
Disturbia Killer - “I can’t rush it, Green Girl.”
The Green Witch - “Um… my name is ‘The Green Witch’, actually.”
Neuron - “I think we can be on a first name basis at this point.”
Disturbia Killer - “I don’t have a first name.”
Neuron - “What?”
Disturbia Killer - “It’s a long story. I should keep focusing.”
The Green Witch - “Wait, no. How do you not have a last name?”
Disturbia Killer - “Well, when people with unnatural abilities became discovered to the public’s knowledge… people feared them, naturally. Any time something is new… there’s a curve. At first people are ignorant, before accepting them. But… since these beings were so inhuman… the government needed an agency to handle them. A new organization set to destroy anything with powers.”
Neuron - “Wait…”
Disturbia Killer - “The X’ers weren’t always the X’ers. The X’ers were around before X Caliber was.”
The Green Witch - “Seriously?”
Disturbia Killer - “They figured... the best way to destroy people with powers… would be something that had equal or greater power.”
Neuron - “Are you a machine?”
Disturbia Killer - “No. When I was young… they kidnapped me. And programmed me to be their power slave, basically. I was the first member of the X’ers. I was trained to kill any person or thing with superhuman abilities. They brainwashed me. They made me forget my family even existed, and... I don’t know my name anymore. If you think X Caliber is bad… they made me want to kill myself. They abused me. I killed 45 people within months after being recruited.”
*The Green Witch wipes a tear away*
Disturbia Killer - “I know what X Caliber does is messed up too… but I know how much worse it could get. Which is why… we have to stop this now.”
*Neuron nods*
*IN THE WOODS, BY A CREEK*
*Mileena sits alone, as the crow flies up to her, resting on a rock. Quickly the crow turns back into Jekyll, who is severely wounded, blood spurting out of his shoulder*
Mileena - “Oh, my god. Are you okay?”
Jekyll - “Does it look like I’m okay?”
Mileena - “Oh my god… this looks bad.”
Jekyll - “MY ARM GOT LASERED BY SOME GIRL. OF COURSE IT LOOKS BAD.”
Mileena - “WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?”
Jekyll - “Stop screaming for starters… people already are on your tail.”
*There's ruffling through the leaves nearby them*
Jekyll stands up - “Run.”
Mileena - “Come with me.”
Jekyll - “I can only make it so far before I bleed out. Go.”
Mileena - “It’s just your shoulder. It can’t be that bad.“
Jekyll - “GO. The laser didn’t just hurt my shoulder. It will only get worse from now. Please. Go.”
*Mileena sighs and runs away, as, through the trees, Marjorey, Europa, Actus Morits, Jade and Kitana run towards him. Jekyll is quickly pinned down by Marjorey. Mileena sees Jekyll struggling to break free, but she quickly turns back around and runs down a small slope, and Jekyll is officially out of sight. Mileena notices a cabin*
*IN THE CABIN*
*Saint sits down on the floor*
Saint - “So… you’re saying… we’re going to be at war soon?”
*Vyx sits down next to her*
Vyx - “I’m sorry, but don’t you see? It’s inevitable.”
Saint - “It’s inevitable to be at war against my brother?”
Vyx - “No. For these opposing sides to ultimately clash. It’s not you versus me. It’s your team versus my team.”
Saint - “Kill me now then.”
Vyx - “What?”
Saint - “Get it over with. Start the inevitable war.”
Vyx - “Aurora, I’m not going to kill you.”
Saint - “Well, if I die… when we’re… quote unquote ‘at war’... you killed me. Just know that.” *gets up and storms out*
Vyx - “Aurora, please.”
*Saint slams the door, and Vyx sighs, shaking his head*
*OUTSIDE THE CABIN*
*Mileena, noticing Saint storming out, quickly runs back into the trees, searching for a place she can hide. She notices the road and runs towards it, when a speeding car comes to a screeching halt in front of her*
Neuron exits the car - “Come with us.”
Mileena - “So you can take me back to X Caliber and have me killed? No thanks.”
Neuron - “We aren’t with him. We’re actually.. against him.”
Mileena - “His own daughter figure against him? How come I find that hard to believe.”
Neuron - “I know he lied about you, just like he lied about Jekyll. Come with us before someone else finds you.”
Mileena - “Well… I guess I’m gonna die anyways.” *enters the car with Neuron and they drive away*
*IN THE WOODS*
*As Marjorey pins down Jekyll, he turns into a mountain lion and shows his fangs, scratching Marjorey’s face with his claws, making her fall to the ground. Jekyll climbs on top of her when a gunshot is fired, and he collapses with a gunshot wound to the head.*
*Alexa Rose lowers her gun, shocked at what she just did, as she notices Jekyll turning back into his human form, with a bullet wound in the back of the head. She drops the gun, breathing heavily*
Alexa Rose, tears filling her eyes - “I… just killed someone.” *starts hyperventilating, tears streaming down her face* “SHIT.”
Marjorey, holding her face, blood streaming down it from the scratch mark - “It’s okay.”
*Europa, Actus Mortis, PyroBolt and Poison Kisses walk away, shocked*
*Eden, Tlaloc, Sensor, Violeta and Night Woman run over after hearing the gunshots and notice Alexa Rose sobbing on her knees, with the dead body of Jekyll laying near her*
Sensor - “It’s okay, Alexa. You did what you had to do.”
Alexa Rose - “I’ve never killed… anyone before.”
Eden - “It’s okay.”
*Alexa Rose wipes her tears away, and exhales*
*IN THE X’ERS BUILDING*
*The Reaper sits at a table with X, as X Caliber leaves his office*
X Caliber - “What are you doing here?”
The Reaper - “My powers aren’t helpful in this situation.”
X - “You said you didn’t want me to go out there by myself.”
X Caliber - “Because your powers are underdeveloped. But Reaper. You can do things to the darkness. You can manipulate reality. How is that not helpful?”
The Reaper - “They all have more useful powers in combat. I’m not going.”
X - “I would’ve went. I can really help, I think. Especially with Europa! She could’ve brought down a satellite or something, and I could’ve crashed them into each other-”
X Caliber - “Julian. You’re not ready. That’s that. End of discussion.”
*X purses his lips, annoyed*
The Reaper - “I don’t see a big deal about me staying here. They’re all perfectly capable of handling it themselves.”
*Europa, Actus Mortis, PyroBolt and Poison Kisses walk inside*
X Caliber - “Where’s the body of Mileena?”
Europa - “No sign of her in the woods.”
*Dark Storm and Vyx follow behind, walking inside*
X Caliber - “Seriously? Nothing at all?”
The Reaper - “I’m sure if nothing came up from them… Neuron, Green Witch and Disturbia Killer had much better luck.”
*IN AN APARTMENT*
*Mileena, Neuron, The Green Witch and Disturbia Killer all walk in. The Green Witch locks the door behind her and guards the door*
Mileena - “That’s extra. You guys know me.”
Neuron - “We think we know you. Which is why we didn’t kill you.”
Mileena - “So… you’re going to hold me hostage? Beat information out of me?”
Neuron - “That’s a bit dramatic. We are actually PROTECTING you. You know by now… people are out to get you.”
Mileena - “Yep…”
Neuron - “We are your friends now. We will keep you protected. But, we need to talk. We do want answers.”
Mileena - “Okay… ask away.”
*IN THE PROTECTOR’S BUILDING*
*Ji walks in and sits down at the table with Ithemba, Cinzi, Light Storm, Fuerza Mística and Vexell*
Vexell - “Where did you go?”
Ji - “Just around the city. Seeing if I could catch Jekyll or something.”
Vexell - “The meeting was actually about Mileena, by the way.”
Ji - “I don’t care, nor do I know who Mileena is.”
Ithemba - “It’s Kitana’s evil clone.”
Ji - “Did you not listen to me? I don’t care.”
*Ithemba shrugs*
*Alexa Rose runs inside, crying*
Cinzi - “Alexa, are you okay?”
*Ji rolls her eyes and walks towards the door again, planning on leaving, as Marjorey, Eden, Tlaloc, Jade and Kitana run in, following Alexa Rose*
Eden - “It’s okay, Alexa.”
*Sensor, Night Woman and Violeta follow behind*
Fuerza Mística rushes over to Night Woman, hugging her - “Are you okay?”
Night Woman - “Of course.”
Ithemba - “Guys, what happened? Did you get Mileena.”
Alexa Rose, sobbing - “I got Jekyll. I shot Jekyll in the head.”
Cinzi - “Is he…?”
Alexa Rose - “YES, HE’S DEAD. I SHOT HIM IN THE HEAD.”
*Kitana is silent, standing in the corner, as everyone comforts a distraught Alexa Rose*
Jade - “Kitana, what’s up?”
Kitana - “We didn’t find Mileena.” *looks over at Ithemba*
Cinzi - “Kitana, this isn’t the right time.”
Kitana - “Obviously not for Alexa, or any of you. But, before I do anything else. I need to make sure she’s dead. Ithemba… find Mileena. Now.”
[THE PROTECTORS.]

RIP JECKYL! Omg I didnt expect that Alexa Rose would be the one to end him! Im glad Mileena survived. She is a true survivor. Disturbia Killer's backstory is amazing! I really felt sorry for him and it was very interesting to see the real beginning of the X-ers. My predictions are that the war is inevitable and we are gonna see brother vs brother but the dark one may become a protector in the future.
i kind of expected jekyll's death to be honest... but this will mark a lot of things. maybe the good people aren't seen as good after killing a person, who knows...
