Kaseyvivor 2 : FINAL TRIBAL COUNCIL/REUNION

#Kaseyvivor2

*FINAL TRIBAL COUNCIL*

The jury walks in…
Samantha
Irielle
Harriet
BryAn
Leo
Dana
Tonya.

Jeff Probst - Each juror will have a chance to address our final 3… Harrison, Jai and Martin. But first, each will get a chance to make their opening statements. Harrison, you’re up first.

Harrison - Oh, wow, okay! Uh… I started out as one of the oldest contestants on the season. I think the second oldest, but I could be lying. I was the odd one out right off the bat, and I had to make sure I wasn’t going to be cut out right away. I think I’ve done a good job staying in good graces with the tribe. Avoiding drama, avoiding controversy.

*MANY EYEROLLS*

Harrison - And, I didn’t need to rely on immunities or any challenge to get here, so… consider me!

Jeff Probst - Jai, it is your turn.

Jai - Well, for starters… I got 0 votes cast against me in these entire 39 days. I only was immune twice, but that still was the second most out of anyone on this season. I had a good amount of say in my alliance with Harrison and Martin, while still having good relations outside of the alliance. People tried to make moves against me in the past, but I had so many social connections, that it never followed through, and nobody would ultimately vote for me. That is what I have to say about my game.

Jeff Probst - And Martin.

Martin - I want to get this out of the way, right away. I did want to make a move in this game, but circumstance is everything. There was never a right time. I did tend to stay in a safe route, but I had a solid social game, people approached me for plans, people always came to me. I felt like sometimes I could’ve been the swing vote.

*A few chuckles, and eye rolls*

Martin - I feel like I didn’t take full advantage of my position, but I did make the smart decisions that led me here, and that’s something I think we should acknowledge when deliberating.

Jeff Probst - Now, one by one, the jury will ask questions. Samantha, you’re up first.

*Samantha stands up, walking into the center of the room, with a slight hair flip and smile*

Samantha - Okay, men. I didn’t get much time with any of you. But I DID pick up on some notes from my fellow jurors. So, I’ll just ask this for confirmation and understanding. Harrison and Martin, specifically. It would APPEAR that you guys just followed Jai. I want all 3 of you to answer… who was the LEADER of this alliance, and who just followed blindly? Because, earlier, Martin, you said… that you had chances to turn on Jai, but none of them were at the RIGHT time. So, that makes me think Jai was the kingpin. Educate me. Prove me wrong. Harrison, I’d be VERY interested in your take.

Harrison - Well, I started the alliance, in a way. I had the most connections from the alliance.

*Jai cringes, Martin chuckles*

Harrison - I was the one with the biggest disadvantage. I was the oldest. I used this alliance, because Martin was similarly old, and Jai was a bigger physical threat. I was in a solid position, basically, by using this alliance. Any opportunity to turn on them would be ultimately unbeneficial, because it was my perfect shot at getting to the end, without just getting picked off before the fact.

Samantha - Extremely long way of saying you weren’t the kingpin in the alliance. Martin?

Martin - Jai was clearly the alpha of the alliance, but-

Samantha - Okay, you’re done. Thanks for answering. Jai, do you concur?

Jai - In a way, yes. I was the alpha, just statistically-

Samantha - I don’t need a speech. That’s all I needed to know. *sits down*

Jeff Probst - Irielle, you’re up.

Irielle - Hey, boys. *smiles* Okay, so… I did have time with you guys, obviously. What I want to know is… why didn’t you give me a chance? I feel like I could’ve been a loyal number to y’all. This is totally a selfish question, but this is also a very important question. Harrison, you first.

Harrison - I didn’t give you a chance because I knew you weren’t to be trusted.

Irielle - Nothing else? No elaboration.

Harrison - None needed. I don’t trust you, I don’t rely on you.

Irielle - Good answer! Jai?

Jai - Well, I noticed you trying to play both sides. Talking to Dana and Harriet. It just rubbed me the wrong way. I couldn’t fully rely on you. I think that’s perfectly reasonable.

Irielle - Okay, Martin?

Martin - I honestly kept trying to push my alliance to keep you around.

Jai - You weren’t exactly relentless about it, Martin.

Martin - **** off, Jai.

Jai - I’m just telling the truth. You never were vocal about keeping Irielle in the game.

Irielle - Interesting. *sits down*

Jeff Probst - Harriet. You are up.

Harriet - I’ll keep this short and sweet. Leo brought it to my attention that you, Jai, completely lied to my face. It was pretty apparent at tribal anyways, but…. Why?

Jai - I don’t entirely remember the context, but I hate lying. I don’t just lie to lie, I lie for a reason. Whether it be to keep other people safe, or throw people off my back… I lie to further my game, when absolutely necessary. Because at the end of the day, we’re here for the prize. We’re here to win. I hope you can respect that.

*Harriet nods*

Martin - Do you have a question for me?

Harriet - Nah! *sits back down*

*Martin rolls his eyes*

Jeff Probst - BryAn, you’re up.

BryAn - I feel like I have to address this head on. Martin, Harrison. I get why you laid low before the merge. It was a hard place to be in. Older than everyone else, you ultimately stood out like a sore thumb. But, to be honest… you laid lower ONCE the merge hit, I feel. I can’t speak for that, since I was never on a tribe with you. But, you basically could blend in with the sand once merge hit. And that’s when you had the least to lose. You were a non-entity in challenges, you were on NOBODY’S radar. That’s when you should’ve been taking ADVANTAGE of the brains you so clearly have. You’re the 2 most disappointing players on the season. There are no excuses for your strategic ineptitude, honestly. This isn’t a question. Just a statement. *sits down*

Martin - Can we at least comment on that?

BryAn - Nothing you can say.

*Martin groans*

Jeff Probst - Leo, you’re up.

Leo - I think everyone before me has gotten the general baseline of all of your games out in the open. I want to know… who was each of your biggest threats in this game?

Harrison - I think… you were the obvious front runner from the start of merge.. But, my biggest personal threat, I think was Tonya. I think we played similar games, mindset wise, and I definitely thought she could have beat me. Or Dana, just because she was a loose canon.

Leo - Anybody could have beaten you, Harrison. Jai?

Jai - I think you, honestly. Relatively smart, insanely strong physically. You definitely were my biggest threat. Personally AND objectively. You would’ve beat anyone at this Final Tribal Council.

Leo - Martin?

Martin - Gabi.

Leo - Alright! *sits down*

Jeff Probst - Dana.

*Dana stands up*

Dana - Harrison, I feel as though we have this… heavy… hate hate relationship. What was it about me that bugged you so much?

Harrison - It wasn’t just me, Dana. Everyone hated you.

Dana - I don’t perceive myself as this villain everybody else paints me as. Explain it to me?

Harrison - You were delusional. Always villainizing people, making yourself out to be the victim. Complaining time and time again.

Dana - I’m human.

Harrison - And it bugged everyone. You’re a ****ing negative human. Anyone up here will say that same exact thing.

Dana - What I want is an apology.

Harrison - **** off.

Jai - I’m sorry, Dana. I personally always was trying to keep you in, although, I do admit, it’s because you didn’t threaten me at all. I knew we’d always beat you in the end.

Martin - Sorry, Dana. You are just misunderstood.

Dana - Thank you, men.

Jeff Probst - Finally, Tonya.

Tonya - I am a rich, ex-Olympian. I know the value of money. Martin, you are a multi-millionaire, self proclaimed self-made billionaire. Why should we give you the million dollars, knowing, even if it were for charity, you have millions of dollars to spare, regardless?

Martin - Because every penny, dollar and NICKEL will go to charity.

Tonya - Why not just spare one million dollars regardless?

Martin - Money doesn’t grow on ****ing trees, Tonya Harding.

Tonya - Nice. Jai, Harrison. Why do you guys need the money?

Harrison - It’d be nice to finally get to retire. I’ve been struggling financially for years, I want to finally be relieved.

Jai - I just think I simply deserve it. Financially, I’m not struggling, but it would still be LIFE CHANGING. Ultimately, I think the money should go to who played, not who has a story.

Tonya - Reasonable. *sits down, smiling*

Jeff Probst - You all get a chance to make closing statements. Harrison.

Harrison - I’m 2 times older than a bunch of you. Yet, I kept up, and I made it here. No crutches such as immunity. No twists helping my path get cleared. Just my brains and my social capabilities. Consider me.

Jeff Probst - Jai, you’re up.

Jai - 0 votes casted to me in the entire 39 days. I was, more often than not, in the majority, and leading it. I was competitive and strong in challenges, and even when my name was up on the ballot, I made SURE I was never the final vote. I think I’m a social, strategic AND physical player, and that deserves to be appreciated. Thank you.

Jeff Probst - AND Martin?

Martin - You all need to realize, me and Harrison were NOT sheep. We were always aware of the situations around us, but we knew what benefited us and didn’t benefit us. And that’s how we got here. We are 2 older men, and we covered the bases to make sure we could get to the end if needed. We are self aware players, and that’s how we outwit, outplayed and outlasted everyone.

Jeff Probst - It IS time to vote. Samantha, you are up.

*VOTING MONTAGE BEGINS*

*Samantha writes down “J” and holds it up*

Samantha - I respect the alpha, not the puppy dogs. *places her vote in the urn*

**

*BryAn conflictingly stares at his parchment*

BryAn, his vote hidden from the camera - I didn’t want to vote for any of them.

**

*Dana holds up “JAY*

Dana - You treated me kindly.

Jeff Probst - Well, see you all at the reunion!
