This album is actually one I’m more familiar with, but I’ve only listened to it one other time.
I’m stupid so it took me multiple minutes to :
A) realize that there was only 14 tracks because Lady took off Do What U Want (I legit had to go over my list like 500 times to realize a number was missing because of that)
And
B) how to do the average for this one becuase I don’t know math
Overall, this was just a struggle to work through.
But yeah, I’ve listened to this album ONCE before because it’s Zuelke’s Favorite and he and Blujay112 are my go to little monsters, and they both happen to LOVE this album, even though APPARENTLY the consensus is this album sucks?
I don’t get it, I loved it! Tbf to Born This Way and The Fame Monster, I actually have listened to this one, so my opinions are already at least a percentage more formed than they are for the prior to, so I definitely have a slanted bias, but bias or not. This is a good album. (My opinions on Joanne are WAY more formulated, but I’ll get into that when it’s time for that)
So far, all 3 albums are good so Idk which one will be my favorite in a couple of weeks, but this album was... hehehe “Dope”
My standouts include Donatella & Dope
I’m not crazy for Swine, it might grow on me. Really I can’t name weak links after my first or second listen, it’s way too soon to really judge, that might be why I’m not more critical on these Gaga albums, whereas for Ariana my opinions were MUCH more formed and strong.
Album Rating : A (I think ngl I never really figured out the issue with my math, but I compared it to the other albums I rated and approximated my rating.. math is hard.. it might be an A- but I’ve been rounding up for first/second time albums. If you compared these albums to Ari you’d think I think Ariana isn’t good, but really it’s just because my opinions have been fully formed for hers and I’m still getting into Gaga’s albums... plus Gaga is such an icon to modern music, so all her albums are kind of iconic)
