[Since this is my first time listening, I will round up in my album rating.]
I mean, Gaga really delivers with some jams. She’s just so good.
I’d say I prefer The Fame Monster (Deluxe) but it’s not an obvious decision, and stylistically I’d say this felt like a more Gaga-esque album than her debut album. Like she developed into more of herself artistically, if that makes sense.
It has legit my favorite song by Gaga ever, You And I.
Hair & Americano are other standouts for me.
I’d say the songs I don’t necessarily love now (specifically Heavy Metal Love) will surely grow on me upon further listens (because I can hardly judge an album/songs on my first listen, and that’s basically what I’m doing)
Overall, this album overall could grow on me more, and surely will. For now I prefer The Fame Monster, and for now this album gets an A- from me.
