hash Rose McGowan and Alyssa Milano literally created the MeToo movement. I know that has nothing to do with the actual content of the original series, but it indirectly has one of the most groundbreaking feminist cast in history.
Now, as for the actual content, it’s LITERALLY all about sisterhood, like... I’m sorry that the new one has protesting and activism, but that doesn’t mean the original was less feminist? Smh I won’t even diss the new one or the cast, they seem all to be solid actresses (i won’t say too much about their talent, it’s a bit of a stretch) and the original had iffy moments as well (not much of a problem with acting, more production and writing) but overall, the original just was better, and it’s shady they acted like the original wasn’t feministic because they weren’t devoted activists in the original
hash I only watched 2 episodes of the new one I shouldn’t even be judging that, but I have seen a lot of the original series and can say it was totally about sisterhood and strong women as well, so the whole “this new charmed is feminist” promo is like... so was the first one????
