How RPDR Editors handled Frankie Grande

May 25, 2018 by JamesM
Was PERFECT.
I am so very pleased!

When he walked in he got a little bit of an extended introduction and a better reaction from the queens, so I initially thought it’d be ‘Frankie Grande’s DREAM show’. However, I was pleasantly surprised.

He got equal treatment from the editors during the prep portion of the show, despite his attempts to make everything about himself.
When he was on camera you could tell the editors cut out his ‘heartfelt monologue about how being on the show is such a dream come true for him’ bullshit...so he probably got less airtime than he expected to get... and that’s fucking hilarious.

During Untucked while he was prancing around being an obnoxious cunt trying to grab the cameras, the editors refused to focus on him (if you missed it, watch the first bit until they call the social media people out of the room... he’s BEGGING for those cameras and if you listen closely you can hear him trying to talk over people so he can get airtime).

God I fucking hate this fucking attention whore so much.... I’m so proud they didn’t let him make the episode about himself.

Like, for example, all the other 5 “social media moguls” came off very gracious and just focused on talking about how they appreciate drag culture or were interested in it,  and that yeah, they are fans of the show, but they didn’t make a huge deal about it. Tyler even made a relatable human connection talking about body image on television without clearly throwing a spotlight on himself.

But when Frankie talked about it, he talked about the show in a way that was really talking about himself.

“IVE WATCHED EVERY EPISODE, SOME EPISODES MORE THAN ONCE, THIS IS MY DREAM, ME ME ME ME ME”.

First of all, we heard that shit with Big Brother (from Frankie and many many many others) so just don’t give me that crap. As a VERY gay man he probably is a fan of the show but hearing “I’m a super fan” from a person like Frankie just triggers me at this point.

Also when he joked about how he wanted to actually be on the show but he was just so talentless so he couldn’t get on... it really sounded like he applied for the show in the past but forgot you have to actually be a good drag queen and not just be someone’s relative and tack on every single gay trope onto every single outfit you wear.

Yeah I know it’s edited but if that quote (which I’m just going to assume I got down verbatim) is the best they could fine for Frankie, then it was probably a lot of that same note while filming.

My only hope is that enough production companies begin to realize that Frankie Grande’s blood is not worth having to deal with Frankie Grande himself, and he’ll fade away off of my goddamn television screen.

God knows he would’ve had a villain/miserable cunt edit on Big Brother if it wasn’t for his last name.
