Sep 21, 2020 by Jacadeux
Various Phases of the game -
Mansion event:
On Mondays at 8:00 PM CST, a Chatzy will be made available to all Contestants. Contestants MUST USE THEIR IDENTIFIER when entering this Chatzy. At 8:05 PM CST, a list of available songs will be announced by the Host into this Chatzy. These songs are preselected by the Host, pulled from the pool of songs submitted by Contestants when applying. The songs are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Any Contestant may claim any song. There will be enough songs so that everybody has at least one. Although this is first-come-first-served, a Contestant may Challenge another Contestant. This is done when a second Contestant claims a song that has already been claimed by a first Contestant. The first Constant then has the option of claiming an unclaimed song or Challenging another Contestant for a different song. These results of the Challenge will be a little different. The two Contestants in the Challenge will have their own poll, independent of the performance votes. The one with the fewer votes will automatically be in the bottom 3. The Mansion events end on Tuesdays at 8:00 PM CST.

Performance period:
On Tuesdays at 8:00 PM CST, song selections are finalized, and Contestants may begin practicing/singing/recording their performance. For the first few weeks, Contestants will be asked to keep performances down to 90-120 seconds to keep the viewing packages from going too long. After 4 eliminations, the Host will announce to the Contestants that songs will no longer have a time limit. The performances should be submitted in a way that the Host can verify that the Contestant is the one singing. The performances should be submitted in a way that the Host can save the audio and place it into a viewing Package. The performances are due at 8:00 PM CST on Sunday nights, giving the Contestants Five days to submit their performance.

Performance Packaging Period - Judges:
Beginning Sunday night at 8:00 PM CST, the Host will begin the process of creating a viewing package for the Judges. This will include removing the video portions of Contestant submissions, and replacing that video with Windows Media Player visualizations. These will all be packed together into one easy viewing package so that the Judges will have something to judge, while keeping the Contestants anonymous. This viewing package will be ready for Judging by 8:00 PM CST, Wednesdays.

Judging event:
At 8:00 PM CST Wednesdays, [This is flexible depending on needs of judges] the judges will review and judge the viewing package created by the Host. They can be a little feisty for entertainment value, but need to keep it civil. The judges should offer whatever advice they believe can assist the Contestants. This whole event will be recorded in a Zoom call.

Performance Packaging Period – Audience:
Beginning Wednesday night, whenever Judging is completed, the Host will begin the process of creating a viewing package for the Audience. This will include the already completed performance package, while inserting the judge’s comments, and making sure it’s pretty as a final product for Audience viewing. This package will be ready for Audience voting at 8:00 PM CST Saturdays.

Performance Voting Period:
Audience will be notified of Voting period three different ways. First, links to both the YouTube video and the google forms ballot will be submitted via the Tengaged Group Game, and the Skype Viewers Lounge. And finally, a public blog will be made for just the YouTube video, and attempts will be made to get it to be a top blog. The Audience MUST either be in the Tengaged Group Game or the Skype Viewers Lounge. The Audience will have 24 hours to vote. From 8:00 PM CST Saturday through 8:00 PM CST Sunday.

Results Packaging Period – Audience:
Beginning immediately after the Voting period ends, the Host will begin the process of creating another viewing package for the Audience. This viewing package will only have the Saving Song performances for the bottom three Contestants. There will be no judging, and there will be no restrictions on the songs. The Google Forms Ballot will be delivered in the same way. The Audience will have about 22-23 hours to vote, beginning as soon as the Host can make the Results Package available through 8:00 PM CST Monday.

Elimination Packaging Period – Audience:
At the same time as the next Mansion event occurs, there will be a third viewing package released to everyone. This viewing package will only be for announcing which Contestant was eliminated for the week.
