For the level of the people VOTING in stars to match the minimum level requirement of people ENTERING stars?
I mean, I don't know how many people there were on tengaged when stars was first installed, but there are plenty of people now above the variable level requirement. Maybe this would even stimulate more activity as people who have been languishing at lower levels forever might be inclined to work towards color upgrades.
What youre saying is pretty plausible but having stars only be voted in by people essentially Sky+ is kinda...interesting?
I mean I can only speak for myself but I've been here for a hot 6 years and it's not that I'm "not inclined" to level up, I just don't want to (even though I could jump right to TV star if I was really that bored). I won my Stars, I CAN join Hunger, there's no point in me becoming TV Star #684 when I can be the highest ranked Brown level and one of the 7? active ones on the site

I guess the point I was REALLY making (especially with the 2nd comment) is that it isnt enough of an "incentive". Who gives a fuck about Stars? I only vote when I see my friends nommed or if I see someone I hate nommed, so this wouldnt be any inclination to really march up the corporate ladder.
I am like right there with you mastropola. I vote then, and sometimes if there's a particularly interesting speech and I happen to see it for some reason. I like being able to vote. I personally would be motivated, but then I'm already motivated by increasing my ability to bet. I kinda stopped playing the tengaged games for a while, and have been playing the group games. I try to get some karma every once in a while to keep it interesting, but mostly so that one day I can bet maximum amounts.
