SUMMARY:
16 Castaways began the journey of a lifetime. They were split into two tribes, Rotu and Maraamu and were informed of a Back To Basics style for the season. The two tribes head out to their camps. Maraamu (consisting of Chelsea, Sara, Sloane, Michael, Elliot, Susan, Cameron, and Tyler) had a decent start but Chelsea and Cameron constantly bickered, causing the tribe to lose sleep. But, to make matters worse, Sara struggled in the first challenge, causing Sara to be eliminated first. While that was happening on Maraamu, Rotu had a clear path. Kane stepped up as leader and made a core alliance, having the girls wrapped around his finger and the guys to keep strength. That Rotu 5 consisted of Kane as the leader, Lucy and Jenna as his female followers, and Jed and Maxmillion, being his male anchors. But, when the tribe lost the second immunity challenge, Tanner decided to rival Kane's leadership and it ended up getting him eliminated 5-3, with the two other outsiders, Big Daddy and Oliver, siding with him. After that boot, they lost yet again but this time the target was Jed, because he thought Jenna was being creepy (because she was staring at him because she had a crush on him) and started targetting her. The two outsiders took their chance to try and get rid of a core member but this failed, as the core turned on Jed, 4-3. Even though Rotu lost the last two challenges, Maraamu's problems were FAR from over. Chelsea and Cameron STILL hated each other and Sloane became a flirt. When Maraamu lost the fourth challenge, Elliot and Michael realized what Sloane was doing and booted her instead of the feuding two. Sloane's departure caused a fight between Tyler and Cameron over which one of them was her real boyfriend. But, somehow they won the next immunity. Now, at Rotu, Maxmillion plotted strategy alone because he knew at some point, they'd merge. He was overheard by Lucy and Lucy misheard him, thinking he was targetting Kane and tried to get Kane to change their target from Oliver to Maxmillion. Kane wouldn't budge so she carried out the move on her own, causing Maxmillion to be the next out. At Maraamu, 3 alliances formed. An alliance between Susan and Chelsea, an alliance between Elliot and Michael, and an alliance between Tyler and Cameron. This caused trouble as there was a three way tie...TWO TIMES IN A ROW AT THE SAME TRIBAL! So, the tribe had to pull purple rocks (second season in a row now) and Michael, the Marvelous Maraamu Leader, was eliminated. After tribal council, Elliot made himself the swing vote of the tribe so he could stay logner. The merge then hit the ten and many things happened. Chelsea won the first immunity, Oliver made a fake idol and got unanimously voted out because he was an idiot and Chelsea wiggled a spot into the Rotu core. At the next two challenges, Susan took home a Snickers Bar and Lucy took home immunity. Chelsea informed the core about Cameron and they decided to boot him. Not wanting his newfound ally Elliot to be left out, she informed him about their plans and he ended up voting with the core, sending Cameron home 6-3.
