So this is my 500th game and most likely last for a while. I came into this guns a blazing, stuck to that throughout.
This game I was a counter 8 times. 4 times I went up, there was honestly only so much I could do when I was labelled a ‘popularity threat’.
Coming into this, I had a couple pretty decent mates in the cast, who we all coincidentally joined the same day, NO premade or anything.
Ok the first few days of my game was kinda week. F16-F12, sure I was 10/10 for noms, but, despite being a key reason for some split sets, I was viewed as a lesser of some other people, and when Felix blogged it, THAT was my wake up to make more flashier moves.
INSTANTLY I message my ‘core 6’ chat, of Britt, RJ, Jackson, Ryan and Cam, though I leave RJ out, form a ‘core 5’ chat with the others. I say I’m doing RJ, quickly everyone gets behind it.
To say the least we got screwed and ultimately Cam and I went up, though we stuck to our guns and the set followed through the following round.
Throughout this game, Britt and I were repeatedly labeled the ‘popularity threats’ by other players. We KNEW we were gonna end up going up together at some point.
Oh quick note, I swear this cast were so desperate for Cam and I to go up together, then Britt and I hahaha. Cam I countered twice in the space of a few rounds, Britt and I countered a solid few rounds until Britt’s exit.
Speaking of Britt’s exit, it WAS when we got to Final 9 her and I came up with the risky strategy of like popcorning backwards and forwards, one of us going up each round. As initially the F7 set was Runaway and Icy, I then had to effectively volunteer, so that Britt would go up against Icy the following round, as if it was Runaway vs Iceey for 7th, it was CERTAINLY Britt vs me for 6th.
Unfortunately, our plan didn’t work. I lost my closest for 6th, and at this point everyone was already locking me for 5th. AGAIN, I managed to survive, thanks btw! Then INSTANTLY went back up for 4th.
Four nominations, a ton of pettiness from others. I think I deserve this win because I was constantly jolted on the block for being a ‘popularity threat’. I was the easy nom each dc that people took because they were too scared for bigger moves. I TRIED to get in, I TRIED to make those moves.
DESPITE going up FOUR times, I still got 20 of my 26 noms through. Best of luck to Ryan and Charlie, all are deserving in my opinion. Good game!I.

It was initially Ryan/Jackson for 7th, but then I suggested James go up to you Ryan and others that maybe James needs to go up again....which was easy because everyone seemed to want him or I up all the time. This move strategically so you wouldn't go up against Jackson for 6th as targets as the last two unnommed. This was for two reasons, to keep James and I from going up together, and to keep you and Jackson from going up together. :)
It was easy to get the other side to take this set because they new James would likely take out targets in the polls.
