Hello everyone. We are FINALLY seeing the end of this game, and I’ve decided the finale will be at final 4. This means that you are all SEMI-FINALISTS. That is quite impressive, but unfortunately there will be one more cut this round before heading to the finale.
The theme for this round will be DIVERSITY. This challenge may be simple in theory, but difficult in execution. For this week, you are asked to submit two songs that you love that represent two of your favorite distinct music genres. When I use the word “distinct,” it means I want to see two easily recognizable music genres that demonstrate your range of personal tastes. Interpret this challenge however you’d like, but just keep the idea of diversity in mind when choosing your songs. Your songs will be judged as a pair, and the person with the worst pair of songs in my opinion will be eliminated this week. You will have 24 hours from now (Tuesday, January 12th, 9PMish EST) to get your songs in. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you and good luck!
I went with two songs from my two favorite genres of Bubblegum/Synthy pop and RnB. Also diversity here because these two artists represent the LGBTQIA+ community and the Black community, respectively. These are two complete different moods of songs that speak of the same thing and I love them both :)
rly loving this challenge, also rly struggling with how best to submit... what encapsulates me... whilst still i think appealing to your tastes.
