Welcome my final 14! You have survived yet another week of Insanity’s Song Contest.
Contestants, we know that the life of a musician can be very wild. It seems like a glamorous life of partying and touring, and that type of lifestyle also leads to temptation and heightened accessibility to drugs and alcohol. A ton of songs have been written about this subject, and I want them to be showcased in your submission this week.
For your submission this week, I want you to submit a song that’s about drugs and/or alcohol. This is a controversial subject in the music industry, and there are some songs that advocate in favor of these substances, but also songs that are heavily against them. It doesn’t matter what the message in your song is regarding these substances, but some message should be prominent within the lyrics. Your song can certainly talk about other subjects as well, but drugs and/or alcohol should be the main idea that your song focuses on.
Jacksonjoseph99, you won immunity last week, so as long as you submit a song that fits the category, you will be safe for the week. For the rest of you, the one that sends me the weakest song will be eliminated from the competition. You will have 24 hours to submit a song, meaning that your submissions will be due on Tuesday, December 8th around 12:45PM EST.
