Episode 2: "Young Love"
It has been two years since the group went camping. Billy sits on Norah’s couch, waiting while she gets ready. His hair is a bit longer, reaching a couple inches down his neck. Aside from that though, not much has changed about his appearance. He wears a blue shirt and light khaki shorts.
Billy: Hey, you almost ready?
Norah: Just a couple minutes. Sorry!
Billy: Take your time. No worries.
Billy looks out of the window and jumps. There is a young boy watching him. He can be no older than four. He has pale skin, and blonde hair that is so light, it could be white. He sits on a three wheeler. His bright, baby blue eyes stare at Billy with curiosity and intrigue. Billy waves at the boy, but he doesn’t move.
Norah: Sorry it took so long.
Billy looks at Norah. She dyed her hair blonde, replacing her natural brown. She wears a light yellow shirt and denim shorts.
Billy: Oh, no problem. You look beautiful, as always.
The two kiss. Then, they smile at each other for a long moment. One thing that hasn’t changed in the past two years is their love for each other.
Billy: Okay, you ready to head out?
Norah: You bet!
Billy grabs a couple of Norah’s heavier bags, and she gets the lighter ones.
Norah: We’re leaving mom!
Norah’s mom, Mrs Smith, responds from upstairs.
Mrs Smith: Okay, honey! Be safe! I love you!
Norah: Love you too! Bye!
Billy: Have a nice week, Mrs Smith!
Billy and Norah walk outside with the bags. Billy looks for the kid from earlier, but he seems to have vanished. Billy shrugs it off, and hauls the bags into his trunk. Once they’re all in, he closes it, and the two, head into the car.
Billy: Okay. Lauren’s getting a ride from her mom, so we just have to pick up Cory and his new girlfriend.
Norah: Oh boy. Cory’s got a new girlfriend? Drama!
Billy: Yeah. I hope Lauren’s gonna be cool about it.
Billy starts the car and drives off.
In a large house a few minutes away, Cory lays in bed. Beside him is a beautiful woman. She has a thin, beautiful body, and a perfect tan. Her long blonde hair lays messily on her pillow. Her’s and Cory’s clothes lay in a pile on the floor.
Cory yawns and slowly opens his eyes. He slowly removes his hand from his girlfriend’s shoulder and reaches to his dresser, grabbing his phone. He opens it and immediately jumps up.
Cory: Shit!
Lilly, Cory’s girlfriend, jolts to consciousness.
Lilly: Ugh, what?
Cory: Billy’s gonna be here any minute babe.
Lilly groans, pulling the blanket back over her head.
Cory: Come on, babe. Wake up. Lilly?
Lilly:Ugh, fine!
Lilly and Cory begin to get ready as fast as they can. They put on the clothes that were in a pile on the floor. Afterwards, Lilly rushes to the bathroom, and starts to do her hair.
Cory: Come on Lilly. We don’t have time for this!
Lilly: But I have to be pretty for your friends!
Realizing that his current attitude isn’t solving anything, he gets a new idea.
Cory: Babe, you already are.
Lilly puts down the brush and looks at him, waiting for him to go on.
Cory: I-in fact, you’re super fucking hot. So don’t worry about them, okay? Especially not at eight in the morning.
Lilly: But my hairrr.
Cory: You can do it when we’re on the cruise. We really gotta be ready soon.
Lilly looks at Cory for a few seconds before finally caving.
Lilly: Okay, fine… But you owe me one.
Cory: Oh trust me. I’ll pay you back tenfold when we’re on the cruise.
They smile, and make out.
After a moment, Lilly goes back into the bathroom, grabs a scrunchie out of her purse, and puts her hair into a ponytail. Cory checks his phone. He sees a text from Lauren, and immediately checks it. It reads “Hey. I don’t want this entire week to be super awkward, so let’s talk sometime soon. In person.”
Lilly: (Playfully) Who’s Lauren?
Lilly had put her head on Cory’s shoulder, and read the text. Cory jumps, and turns to face Lilly, quickly hiding his phone behind his back.
Cory: Oh, um-
