This new policy is DIS-GUST-ING

Jun 1, 2012 by Indie
Let me start of by saying, maybe people shouldn't be banned for posting pictures.... but that doesn't mean the issue should be ignored. While some people are perfectly OKAY with having their picture posted a lot of people are not, for a variety of reasons.

I just find it disgusting that TM is telling us to "manage our online privacy", basically saying that WE are to blame if our photos get exposed. Wait, what? Did you really just say that fallacious moderator. That's like saying "rape victims are to blame because of the clothes they are wearing."

Tengaged_Moderation was there to help users out of uncomfortable situations, that could eventually impact their real life... such as this... so denying us that privledge is really disrespectful to us. Isn't it basic customer service to help the customor as much as possible, despite the extra work?? Plus, asking someone to leave their account is obviously an unreasonable request given TM could handle the situation themselves.

So, my message to TM is to not think like a worker, but a Tengaged user.

I agree with TMOD. If you don't want your pictures posted by other users just don't post them. It's not that difficult.

Randori, It's not a simple matter of all pictures people posted that have been posted before on tengaged. A lot of pictures are given out in confidence that they will only be seen by a select group of people. Just because one person breaks their word, that doesn't mean someone should have to face the reproductions.
