do you guys think there's diffusion of responsibility in like Big Brother or Survivor? any examples? the houseguests like to vilify the person they're evicting so they feel less guilty but i'm not sure how applicable that even is to diffusion of responsibility

I think they vilify them to make them a public enemy in order to make it a group decision instead of a singular decision, not to distance themselves from guilt. But Big Brother is a game where people would take responsibility for that because in the end they need to have a long list of moves to win.
