I spent today with my mother over at Foxwoods, and honestly, I'm so glad we went! It's been a trip I've wanted since 2011 and I've finally got to go after so many years. I really needed today to kind of just let loose and enjoy myself because I haven't had too many chances to do that kin of thing in a while even with novel writing month behind me.
In the process, I have a new warm jacket that I really needed as well as a Souvenir Cup from the Scorpion Bar. :) Sometimes, the best you can do for yourself is just go and let loose. All the rest will play out for itself.
