So I see we sneaky rats are back again, eh? Eggman joke aside, let’s talk about One Killer! It has become one of 2016’s biggest blog series, rivaled only by Descendants of the Guardians, and both had been through substantial postponements, so now that’s it’s back once again, we can dive down into the characters we are following for its 3rd season!
Serena Creed (Season 2) – Let’s be honest, until I’d found out Serena was back, the plan for me would have been to stay out of Tengaged and only talk to people from here on Skype until after final exams (this takes place later this week, so I’m GLAD to be done with Astronomy after Friday y’all!) I remember genuinely enjoying Serena as a character, and not just because she was my own as there had been characters I was in the past who were flat out awful. It’s safe to say that that has still not changed! Serena is still the same, sweet icon I’ve fallen in love with portraying. <3 However, I could sense that somewhere along the lines, she might be in critical danger because Season 2 was not kind to her at all.
Aoki - Chasty Ballesteroso (Season 2) – So I really wasn’t pleased with Chasty coming back since she was supposed to have died in the Season 2 finale with Troy back at Serena’s old house. Then for her to be in ANOTHER explosion where she supposedly died, un yeah… Did Chasty catch Michael Bayitis or something? And is she really dead this time? Of course, the fact this whole thing happened despite me not being pleased with Chasty this time around makes me want to insert myself into One Killer and personally take Brandon’s brains out. TDBigBrotherLover112 - Elizabeth Caldwell (Season 1 & 2) – Elizabeth has been the biggest character in One Killer history! She has now been in all 3 seasons and has been in every episode of the series except for one (the Season 3 premiere)! Anyway, with how big of a character as Elizabeth is, if she did end up getting killed off at some point, it would be a huge blow to those reading this series. Now, I’ve always liked Elizabeth except for maybe an occasional episode or two, but I’ve never really loved her if you catch my drift.
Aoki - Viola Washington (Season 1 & 2) – Viola’s interesting. I’ve always liked her more than I ever did Elizabeth, and then after she was presumably “killed off” in the penultimate episode of Season 1, she came back towards the end of Season 2 as Pink Heels! So seeing her “just going into upper school” when Season 3 takes place 3 years after Season 2 and 4 years after Season 1 is probably one of the most shocking discoveries ever, especially when you consider her past as Pink Heels. How can you resume a normal life after that!? Also, how is Serena even hanging out with her considering Pink Heels once kidnapped her and Sydney, killing the latter? I’d love to see how Viola and Serena made up after that. Carlyjordan14 - Laura Lopez – Oh, it’s the girl I made Nick Gautier jokes about back when I caught up with the first episodes of this season! Honestly, I felt so bad for Laura. After she caught her man with Paul, she was taken hostage by the killer, had her tongue cut out a la Green Inferno or Audition (take your pick which because both were gruesome. I watched the former and read the book of the latter although that also has a film adaptation out.), oh, and apparently she’s dead now. Well isn’t that just brilliant! #NotReally DJ2722 - Alexa Winters – Speaking of bad luck, Alexa so far has been getting the short end of the stick. Her welcome home had been anything but welcome. She found out Brandon was cheating on her, basically lost Vanessa as a friend, was harassed by Neeta, Brandon’s text to her caused her to inadvertently hit-and-run our One Killer veterans, and NOW she is being framed for murder and has been arrested for it! And yes, I say “framed” because it’s only 5 episodes in and somehow Laura’s and Marina’s bodies just happened to be in her closet. That seems too off for her to be the killer. Will Alexa ever come out on top? Who knows? PoohSnap - Brandon Marquez – Oh, speaking of Brandon, this guy needs to die in the most pain-inducing way possible! He has been nothing but vile and toxic and… VILE! He cheated on so many girls it’s not even funny, caused the crash that endangered our returnees, Alexa got put in hot water because of him, and NOW he’s a prostitute! So far, this guy makes BURT look like a fan favorite and that’s saying a LOT since Burt was one of the worst people ever! MrBird - Ray Sinclair – We only just met this guy and already I don’t care for him. At the same time though, I don’t hate him. Actually, I just read a Disney theory about Snow White the other night where Prince Charming is actually the Grim Reaper personified and he basically took Snow White to the afterlife. That actually gave me a thought after thinking about Ray’s scene with Neeta. What if Ray is One Killer’s Prince Charming and Neeta is Snow White? All of sudden, the fact he’s taking Neeta out later makes me all the more worried for Neeta. Paul028 - Paul McGee – So far, all I know about Paul is that he’s gay, and that reminds me of Kyle in a way. Wasn’t Kyle also gay? Discuss vets! Now, there hasn’t been a positive reaction to Paul letting Cameron go, but honestly, I get his motives. Paul doesn’t want to keep going with Cameron, and I can understand that. Maybe it wasn’t fair on Cameron, but I feel like there are underlying motives behind Paul’s game that could be keeping Cameron safe for the time being. Katherinee_ - Vanessa Crystal – Apparently, there’s something in Vanessa’s past she’s done that I feel will be shown in some kind of light as the season goes on. I have seen our writer MEL here comment at one point that there are “big plans” for Vanessa, so yeah, we need to know what it was that has caused Vanessa to lose everything around her. Could she have secretly been Tallulah or something? Did she cause Olivia’s “death” back in the series premiere from Season 1? Was she the true killer of Olivia in Season 2? Could she have been Olivia’s sister and ultimately influence her to become the Season 1 killer? Did all these things happen? Vanessa’s lost everything, but she’s already one of the most intriguing people in One Killer history! Don’t waste Vanessa! MrPokeGuy9 - Cameron Murray – I feel like Cameron could be a discount Kyle, and unlike Brandon, I feel Cameron can be redeemed. However, I think he could also be a soon-to-be target for the killer. Why did Paul abruptly end his relationship with him? Why did the killer collect Laura after killing Kayla? Why is he now in a prostitute situation with Brandon? I’d seriously be worried for Cameron at this point, but who knows? Maybe if he does die early on, we get to see the return of Kyle from Season 2! Tkoj555 - Marina Willis – Honestly, I don’t see why she deserved to die so early, but she did and as such, I never really got to connect with her other than the fact she has a cat. But she did get a bit of reinforcement a la Neeta before she left, so there is at least that. I would say better luck next time if, you know, there actually WAS a next time for her! Coolkat - Riayn Brooks – Kind of like Ray, I don’t really care much for her either. She screams troublemaker and her being a killer really wouldn’t surprise me. She could just be a shit stirrer and we wouldn’t even bat an eyelash. I wish there was more I could say about her, but unfortunately this cold I’ve had for the past month and almost a half isn’t letting my brain kick into high gear right now, so maybe I’ll have to get back to you later. QueenMichelle - Jasmine Ganiev – In another way just like Ray, we only just met her. To be fair, I’m not sure what to say. So far, all we know is that apparently she knows whatever it was that Vanessa has done. I do hope we get to see more of who she is and what she’s about because one episode isn’t really enough to form a good enough opinion. Melindamrskk - Jessica Megan – So far, all we’ve seen of Jess is that she’s being around the town with Riayn. Not exactly the best of starts there Jess ole buddy! Can we get an R? R! Can we get an I? I! Can we get a P? P! What’s that spell! RIP! Nice knowing ya Jess!
Melindamrskk - Neeta Saur – First of all, I am laughing at this name! What kind of dinosaur was a “neetasaur”? I digress! So what we know of this modern day “dinosaur” is that she tends to get OTT when standing up for people as showcased with her standing up for Marina, but all the same, she actually seems somewhat tame other than that. That being said, remember that whole Snow White theory I brought up when I was talking about Ray? If that actually gets applied to One Killer, then Neeta will most definitely die soon because it would insinuate Ray as the Grim Reaper! It would add salt to the wound if somehow the car Ray drives is pale, kind of like the pale horse in both Snow White AND the Book of Revelations in the Bible! So yeah, I’m not too hopeful for Neeta’s chances right about now.
Melindamrskk - Kayla Westbrook – Of course, at least Neeta still even HAS a chance, unlike Kayla here who was disemboweled in this season’s 2nd episode! I mean, yeah, you probably shouldn’t fake an attack, but at the same time, that was all that defined her throughout the whole thing, meaning she didn’t have much of a chance to develop! Sucks to be you Kayla. Talk to you probably never.
And that will be that for 5 episodes. So obviously my big statements right now are Neeta getting the Snow White theory treatment and that Chasty took lessons from Transformers here, but what else have I learned throughout these episodes? Well, apparently the killer wants to target the Fleetwood Four now for whatever reason. I mean, why else did Serena get a text from the killer with Chasty’s face crossed off, and why was Kayla’s picture in her box? Did the killer have an obsession with Serena we all don’t know about? It could make sense since Serena was there for Officer Richardson’s death AND bore witness to Olivia’s death as well, and let’s not forget about Sydney’s death either in which Serena escaped from! Also to remember is there is more to Vanessa than meets the eye, and whatever dark past Vanessa has, well, it will eventually be bright to light! Let’s also note Viola having been Pink Heels! Like, how has that not caught up to her by now? And here’s the thing: it very well could later on if everything is to come together! Finally, could Tori, Samantha, and Kyle all make a return in Season 3 like Serena, Viola, Elizabeth, and Chasty have already done? And why is there someone taking the identity of “Tallulah”? So much has yet to be answered for One Killer that we just can’t wait!
It is said in season 2 that Tori died in jail or some shit like that, and it’s assumed Samantha died in the explosion at the end of season 2, but it’d be lit if they came back bc I’m obviously biased
You have more theories about Vanessa than me! Even I don't think that she is that important to the series at least for now.
