So I did a bit of thinking, and I'm beginning to realize that maybe being an older person on Tengaged has its perks. I mean think about it:
- Tomorrow's never promised. People come and go from this world every day, and far too many times, children don't get to live to even become adults. So the fact we even made it to the ages we are now should be something to feel good about, even if we do spend our time on here as long as we manage ourselves properly.
- I know there have been kids on here who make fun of other people's age and say stuff about they want to get done by the time they get to their age, but what if you make it to that age yourself and find yourself unable to get what you said you could accomplish by the time you got to the age of the person whose age you made fun of? Life's a hard road, and this was something I've learned quickly as a young adult.
- Some of us have been on Tengaged since either the beginning or close to it. Because of it, many people grew up on Tengaged. Now, I was not one of those people, but I know people who grew up playing these kinds of games, and while it might seem embarrassing, there's no doubting that they can leave some pretty fond memories.
- I've seen some people tell others who have jobs to get a job. I've been a recipient of this myself, but I just laugh because I know I have my job and the long commutes that come with it and although I've spent a lot of time on Tengaged, I know when I need to do my job and I know to separate work from play, and I know I am far from the only person who can manage ourselves like that.
- And mostly, we're just as much human as the rest of you. I mean, it's safe to assume we're all human beings unless there's like some dog with opposable thumbs and computer knowledge we don't know about.
So really, we might not be kids anymore, but really, are we so different from you? If and when you grow up to be the ages we are, are you really going to be so different than the people whose ages you make fun of? It's all a matter of how you fare in your own lives. Trust me, if I had my life on track like I thought I would when I got out of high school, I probably wouldn't be on this website. But life is what you make of it, and yet it is also what it makes of you.

haha Thanks Mexus :) And yeah, I may not be super old irl, but compared to most other people on Tengaged, I'm definitely not young, so it's given me a pause to think about this kind of stuff.
