failed a class and still been fine with grad school? I switched a class to Audit but turns out they will make me pay back a bunch of financial aid if I don't switch it back to a A-F or Pass/Fail grade. Now if I switch back to P/F I will fail because of the assignments I didn't need to do becoming 0s. I'm so stressed :(

Maybe you should stick with the A-F system and try your best. I remember myself last spring when my school switched to P/F and my financial advisor telling me that if my grade fall from my International Relationship class, I will need to refund that class. I ended up refunding that fucking class despite me having a B-... worst class ever
I didn’t pay for that class but my financial aid did take care off it. However, with the P/F in the process, it required me to definitely get an A grade. I ended up getting a B which didn’t increase my GPA, so I had to pay for that class because I didn’t meet the financial aid requirements.
