I'm without a shadow of a doubt certain Alex G. doesn't win, let alone make final three. The thing I think that draws people like myself into watching is there is so much content whether it be strategy sessions or confessionals. With that being said, Alex G's only saving grace from an Inv rating is him being mentioned twice by the host and him talking with Holli about the seven girls going to the bathroom. Other than that, the editors made no effort to suggest Alex G. was even relevant or a player in itself, which suggest to me he plays no key roles moving forward other than his inevitable boot episode.
Brandon | 1 Confessional | UTR2

Brandon was a rather big character in Guts & Glory, so to see him start off a new season behind the scenes is a bad sign in my eyes. Despite being targeted and going to tribal, Brandon's edit was shown to be in the dark by the editors. Another downfall to Brandon's edit is his only confessional was about how he couldn't connect with the guys on a social level, which is very much a hindrance to his chances of making it deep into the game.

The thing to always look out for when it comes to returnees in an all star season that were booted premerge is to see if they're going to be relevant moving forward, because it is much easier to edit a fan favorite regardless of their placement then it is someone who really wasn't a character. Unfortunately for Sierra all that was really shown is that she's quite an advocate for girl power by her comments on the tribes and on top of the that, that she's going to target Eric if he were to make merge. It's only the first episode though, so anybody can change their edit around, including Sierra.

Poor Micah.... always getting the backseat to Evan and Shannon's superior edits, Micah was once again under edited and that his entire premiere storyline was tethered to Evans, which shows me moving forward Micah really has no personal storyline and will more than likely never go above a MOR rating until he can break away from being just "That third guy in the socotrio".

The sad thing about Victoria is she played such an important role Terrapin Trials, so to see her only edit being of not working with Chris Thomas puts a notion into my head that she is most definitely a prejuror. The context clues behind it stem from the fact that three people currently are on the bottom with the Furiosa tribe, (Holli/Sierra/Victoria). Sierra has been countless times noted that she would be one to be in an alliance with multiple members on the Furiosa tribe, while Holli's premiere edit was pretty solid enough to where I don't think her storyline would end anytime soon. That leaves Victoria, who has a few of the girls already not trusting her and skeptical or her gameplay. This could result in an early Victoria boot.

The thing that struck me as positive with Rebecca's edit is the editors are purposely trying to make us like her with the brother story and the redemption she so much craves for being a 1st boot. It makes way for what could be Rebecca going decently far into the game. Other than that, Rebecca's edit was kept out of focus and essentially wasn't a driving point of the story at all in the premiere, all it told us is that Rebecca was going to make her 2nd chance worth it.

The thing about Eric's edit is that much like Micah, Eric's edit is tied into Chris L.'s, and much like Micah again, Eric takes the backseat to the duo. Eric is shown to want to be a ring leader in the long run (More than likely merge) but take a back seat for the premerge portion of the game, which could suggest seeing a bunch of MOR/UTR edits for Eric during the premerge portion of the game, before he turns up during the second half, but he'll have to break out of his alliance Chris L. if he's going to get personal content and his own personal storyline.
Sabrina | 3 Confessionals | MOR2

I always said, the editors usually do a damn good job at hiding the winner until it's time, which makes me think that there's no way to count out Sabrina as a possible winner's contender. When names were getting drawn out only four pairs got real confessionals, (Victoria/Chris T.|Shannon/Eric|Michelle/Brandon|Schuble/Sabrina. When I'm basing it on edit, I'd assume the editors are saying one of these duos will be the last one standing, looking into more so the clear choice is Schuble and Sabrina, with negative undertones with the other three duos and only positive undertones with Schuble and Sabrina, the choice seems clear. I feel as if the bigger threats will take each other out very much early on, and Sabrina will turn it up at merge when she reveals to Schuble that they're partners, in which will turn into a dynamic power duo that I'm almost certain will run a good portion of this game.
Nicole | 3 Confessionals | MOR3

Nicole's edit seems like what it was last time, she's got a solid game going, however her comment about how women are catty and the girls will eventually start fighting makes me think that once again Nicole will find herself in a nice Male dominated alliance and go deep in the game. Only problem is I feel as if she will once again take a back burner when what moves were made and what she really contributed to them, like with Steve in Maryland Outback. Telling Ryan, she's his partner could come back to bite her later on, but only time will tell.

Oh Alex, the typical MOR3 boot edit that claims so many people, going into the tribal seeing it come down to Ryan vs Alex, I knew right then Alex was gone for sure based on edit. Alex was the only person to come out of the premiere with any inkling that Schuble would be a big threat going forward into the game and also felt too comfortable for his own liking, which is never a good sign in Survivor. Ultimately, he had no story going forward and was the Vytas/Cambodia type flop.

Ashley's edit resembles her game from last time way too much, which is a woman who really doesn't work well with other women, Looks at Chrissy. Her and Siona's feud will come to a head eventually and considering the overshadowed Siona vs Ashley edit only makes me think Ashley could be looking at being a two-time prejuror if she isn't swapped onto a male dominated tribe.

Ryan's edit is just that he's too good for his own liking. He has the power to make a move and take out Chris L., but instead chooses to align with him and more so try and go deep into the game with him, all while unknowing of Chris L. wanting him out next. The only thing Ryan's edit foreshadowed to me was the demise of Season 4 when he claimed they just didn't try hard enough and weren't as great of strategist. Ryan got himself out a sticky situation by talking to Chris L. But I fear moving forward if he doesn't take a shot now, he will most definitely be the surprising premerge boot that nobody expected, (Stephanie/Malcolm/Ali/Michaela/Varner), he's made an alliance with Chris T. and they plan on dethroning Chris L. very soon, but will they be able to pull it off?

Holli's edit intrigues me because I can see her working with Chris L. but not with Shannon, which leads me to believe Shannon could wind up a prejuror if she's on a tribe with Holli. Holli's underdog story edit is already underway with her being shown to have great perception on where she stands with her tribe currently and the relationships each tribe member has with each other, she could also play a key role in some blindsides moving forward, because as long as she makes the swap I feel as if she'll be a swing vote throughout the game and will be able to make the moves necessary to keep herself safe.

I was almost contemplating putting her as MOR, but I felt as if her story wasn't entirely tethered together with Chris L's like Eric's is. Shannon wants to work with Eric/Chris L moving forward and is already shown to be in a possible alliance of Michelle/Nicole/Siona and her. Her game is moving at a steady pace and I feel as if she will be willing to cut Chris L when the times right, if she is able to get that chance is the question. I feel people will see early on how many connections she truly does have with Evan/Micah or Chris L./Eric or the possible Michelle/Nicole/Siona. She'll make herself into too big of a threat where she will be blindsiding someone very early at some point and how she deals with the aftermath will determine how far she can go in this game.

Siona comes off as very arrogant and entitled and judging from how others perceive her versus the Ashley situations, it could appear that she may annoy people too early on. Siona's edit will either drop off after the Ashley vs Siona storyline is over, or she'll have another storyline that contributes to the overall story. Whichever path her edit takes her will determine how far she goes in the game, but her comment exclaiming that she can't play without Ryan could be a foreshadow to a possible demise without Ryan by her side.
Michelle | 4 Confessionals | CP4

This is where we get into the stars of the premiere. Michelle by far had the best edit of any of the females. She's willing to put her differences aside with Brandon even though he was the reason she left in Guts & Glory, symbolizing that she doesn't hold past grudges and is playing with her head. She's already in a possible four with Shannon/Nicole and Siona, while on the side deciding to trust Chris T. moving forward. Overall Michelle's perception of the game is on point and nobody seems to deem her as threatening so far, combine that with the fact that Michelle placed 12th in her original season as a prejuror and you'll see that she has a big role to play in the upcoming merge storyline.

The one problem with Evan's edit this episode is it is setting up Evan's betrayal of Chris L. and how it will backfire on him further into the season. Despite wanting Ryan gone first in his confessional, he decided to back out and follow Chris L's plan to oust one of his allies Alex P. This is not a good sign considering winners are usually never edited in a way where they make a dumb choice such as ousting an ally for a more than likely enemy in Ryan going further. Evans edit is set up for a betrayal of Chris L then an immediate downfall which goes back to what Ryan had previously said on Season 4 not being as strategic.

He comes out of the gate a little goofy and oblivious to who his partner really was and even more oblivious to the fact that Victoria would never want to work with him, which will only hurt him going forward. His saving grace is if he can get out Chris L. before the merge and make a final two with Eric, I can see Chris T. going very far into the game. His perception was little mixed however. Despite being unaware of who his partner was and that they wanted him out, he is aware that people don't like him and that he should try and reach out to the people who don't know him in an effort to help his game, which worked by Michelle's confessionals confirming she trust Chris T moving forward.
Schuble | 4 Confessionals | CPP4

If it wasn't obvious before, it was obvious now that Schuble is going to be behind some great plays this season. I also believe he will be a swing vote that sends Chris L. home in a soon to be tribal council, followed by a shocking Ryan boot. However, Schubles edit screams the underdog that keeps fighting and comes out short which makes me think Schuble will be the player of the season with multiple idol plays and immunities, on top of him and Sabrina being the last duo standing which will allow them to be safe for a few votes. Schuble in my eyes is a finale boot, the editors early on want to let us know he will be a force to be reckoned with while also noting that he is no stranger to being on the bottom, possibly foreshadowing his constant battle from the battle come the merge.
Chris L. | 8 Confessionals | CPN5

This episode was all about Chris L. it had his fingerprints on every inch of it. The only thing that keeps me thinking Chris L isn't the 2nd boot is him and Schuble commenting on the 1st episode in the comments, almost as if they're excited for this season, which could hint at both making it far, but I don't see that. Chris L. wanted to fly under the radar but immediately saw that wasn't going to work, so he took up the Alpha Male ring leader position much like Evan and Schuble thought he would. I think Chris L's decision to take out an ally in Alex P. over a more than likely soon to be enemy in Ryan, is what is ultimately going to be his downfall. Chris L's edit screams Tony Game Changers vibes to me in the sense of building someone up for a downfall and then moving onto a new storyline. If Chris L can make it to the swap I think he will definitely go far into the game, but if they go back to tribal council before hand, I have a very bad feeling he'll be that 2nd boot. Overall there's a reason Chris L's edit overshadows everyone else's in terms of edit, whether it be negative or positive. titan24maniac #SurvivorMaryland
