Alright, welcome everyone to the Round 8 blog! I'm left remaining with 9 contestants that have all sent in a wide variety of music, and this round's theme is sure to test your variety.
This round is INTERNATIONAL HITS. For this round, I'm asking you to submit a song that was a top 40 hit anywhere in the world, but never charted on the Billboard US Hot 100 chart!
Same rules as per usual - 24 hours to submit your song! It would be helpful if you listed the country it charted it and what number it hit on the charts. Best of luck, hope to see some real creativity this time! You'll have until this blog expires, so around 8:15 pm on 12/12/2020!
(According to Wikipedia: number one in Belgium, Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Switzerland and Turkey, and also reached number one on the European Hot 100 Singles. But never charted in the US as far as I know!)
