This list is written all based on my own opinion. All of these songs were released in 2017 or late 2016. There is a mix of songs popular on the radio or streaming, and songs that are more forgotten gems from albums or just never picked up the popularity they should have. These are just in my opinion, the 50 best songs that I'll remember from this year.
#36 - Stay - Zedd & Alessia Cara
While a lot of people may think that this song is overrated and overplayed, I really can't agree with this. This song to me is a bop and is a lot of fun to listen to. The lyrics are fun but still say something, and the beat is upbeat and solid. Alessia Cara sounds great in this song and Zedd, in my opinion, really put a lot into this and is one of his best songs. The song isn't really known for it's music video, as it doesn't really have anything special to it, though the lyric video is somewhat enjoyable to me. The song charted well all over the world and went platinum (or multi-platinum) in multiple countries, and it peaked at #7 on Billboard's Hot 100, but at #17 on it's Year-End Chart.
Hint for #35 - This year saw one artist really push a comeback of herself, including a lead-single that is topping several year-end charts and an entire album of music that is showing this artist is reinventing herself and her music, and this one bop really helps showcase a new direction for her style.
