Nice work guys! This round was definitely an improvement, we really enjoyed what ya’ll had to offer. Guess you guys just needed some animal cuddles in your lives <3 This round was a lovely mix between iconic bops and music we had never heard before that perked our ears. Well done everyone!

M: Woah, I did not expect any of that, in a good way sorta. The intro had me thinking it was gonna be a feely song but it quickly switched to more pop/EDM and it kinda vibed! I think the chorus could’ve done a bit more and it left me wanting a more from the song as a whole, but otherwise it was pretty good! The production was very cool. 7/10
K: honestly had no idea what was going on the whole song but sing it bitch!! Whoever this is she ate that her vocals are really good. I got to listen to a ballad and attend an EDM concert all in one. This song seems fun to like be on drugs to. Personally I really liked this song a lot I thought it was a unique choice too. 9/10

Admir - Bird Set Free (Sia)
M: Even though she’s a questionable human being, I do like Sia’s music. She has a very good voice and she finds a way to make her music catchy as fuck. I’ve actually never heard this before, but I enjoyed it! It send a nice message and I’m a fan of Sia’s darker production for sure. My only criticism is that I feel like this would get super repetitive after a while, as I found myself kinda getting bored of it towards the end. Definitely a good pick though. 8/10
K: Sia is very odd and I find her fascination with Maddie Ziegler weirder (this is not maddie hate that's a queen). As for the song it was good it didn't really stick out because it sounded like every other Sia song to me. I'm indifferent on it but it wasn't the worst pick. 7.5/10

M: LOL well this was certainly risky of you. There’s a lot of hate for this song, and I do get it. It’s annoying how much this song was played and her voice can be grating. BUT, I do like this song, and I really liked it when it first came out. It’s fun to sing to and is super unique which I love about it. You’re lucky neither of us are on the hate bandwagon for this song! 7.5/10
K: EVERYONE HAS BEEF WITH THIS SONG AND I DONT KNOW WHY. That being said it can either be really annoying or fun depending on whatever mood you're in. I really liked this song at first but my job started overplaying it so I've come to have a love/hate relationship with it. The chorus is fun whatever people are gonna disagree. 8/10

Useamint - Hermit the Frog (MARINA)
M: This was… very interesting! I’ve never listened to Marina before. She certainly has a unique style. To be honest I’m mixed on it. Some parts were really nice (those high notes were tasty) but other parts kinda made me wanna stop the song. It was very all over the place which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but during some parts I wish it was more cohesive. It was decent though. 6.5/10
K: Oh I love Marina and the Diamonds. I've actually never heard this song before but I really liked it. All of her music is destroy men
empowering and we have no choice but to stan. I like the lyrics but my only complaint with the song is that it has like 0 structure LOL. But Marina was an amazing artist choice. 8.5/10

M: Kinda iconic. I haven’t heard this song is sooo long, it brings back so many memories. There’s obviously not a ton of depth to it but it’s a very fun song that everyone can bop to. I don’t think this is something I’d want to listen to more than like once a year but it’s definitely nice to hear it again! 7.5/10
K: LMAO this was such a funny pick. This song gives me the most specific nostalgia to elementary school field days eating those half and half ice creams with a wooden spoon...It's a great throw back song to trigger childhood memories but after the first chorus it was enough for me but good choice. 7.5/10

M: Honestly? Kinda what WAP wishes it was. Nicki is amazing and obviously the Sir Mix-a-lot sample is great. Along with being a good song this never fails to make me laugh. Like Nicki screaming “FUCK THOSE SKINNY BITCHES” is just so good. Nice pick. 8/10
K: An absolutely iconic pick. I don't care how overplayed this song is I will gladly bop to it til I die and I'm not even a giant fan of Nicki Minaj?? Also unrelated to the song but all of her looks in the video are SERVES. A super fun song and a great choice. 8.5/10

M: First off, Krista having never heard this is like really bizzare. Anyways, I HAVE heard this many many times, and it’s pretty good overall. I’m not usually a huge fan of indie but this song goes together nicely. It also brings nice vibes and gives me nostalgia to middle school summers. I don’t LOVE it, but it’s good! 7.5/10
K: I've heard of Florence and the Machine before but never actually listened to them and thought they were just a rip off Lorde but oh I was wrong. I really enjoyed this song this is something I'd totally put on my feels playlist because the vibes I got from it are just immaculate. The only thing I dislike with music like this is that the songs are so long but it was SUPER GOOD. 9.5/10

M: I feel like I’m gonna get roasted for this because this song is definitely NOT well liked by the general audience but IMO this is one of Katy’s best, idc. It has a tantalizing chorus and the beat and bass drop are amazing. I also have weird specific nostalgia of pregaming with my roommates to this song and we kinda popped off so that probably helps. 9.5/10
K: Another iconic song. This was also superr overplayed when it first came out but her vocals in it are amazing. Whatever era Katy Perry this was, was THE Katy Perry she kinda got weird after that. Not necessarily something I'd play in my free time but an amazing throwback song and definitely a good pick. 8/10

M: Headbangs with mbarnish. This brings back guitar hero 3 vibes so hard. It’s a very good song even if it’s old af. Like I’d definitely bop along to this if it ever came on, it’s super easy to get into and that hook is tasty. I’m a fan of 80s and a fan of rock so this hit right. I’m laughing at you picking this though, this song is like at least double your age if not triple. Good job Barny! 9/10

M: THE LYRICS? “Sheep gang glorious” LMFAO I’m dying. Anyways, I kinda have mixed thoughts on this pick. It has good production and there’s for sure some talent there, but it felt sorta basic for being a super non-basic pick if that makes sense. I didn’t think there was much special about it and once again I felt a disconnect to the part of the lyrics that I couldn’t understand, although that’s not really your fault. It’s still pretty fun and different though. 7/10
K: LMAO this was so interesting and like not in a bad way. I actually really liked it I was bopping along to it even though I had no idea what he was saying majority of the time. The beat was super cool it definitely wasn't just generic rap so not a bad pick. 7.5/10

M: I do love some Nelly! I agree with Krista that she has better, but this definitely isn’t bad. I think it is fairly basic and ~meh all around though, like nothing really pops at me ya know? The nostalgia is one thing this song does have going for it so there’s that! But in terms of 2000s pop it’s mediocre IMO. 7/10
K: I'm going to get murdered for this but Nelly Furtados vocals just do not do it for me. Like Promiscuous Girl and Man-Eater are iconic idk maybe I'm being too harsh on Miss Nelly. This song had the most 2000's vibes I've ever seen LMAO. It wasn't bad I just definitely like some of her other music a lot more!! 7.5/10

M: This song is kinda funny. Like idk to me it’s like they definitely weren’t trying to take themselves too seriously here which is good. I don’t think it’s a good song but it is one of those things were I can see why it was popular in that era. The rapping was not my favourite and it felt like a weird beat to have. I will say that the chorus is kinda infectious even if it’s the most basic thing ever, and again the song is pretty easy to listen to even if I don’t really like it. 5.5/10
K: Rap is probably one of the genres I listen to most but this song was not it for me. I feel like these are pop punk men who couldn't get into pop punk so they turned to rap before soundcloud was a thing. The music video also terrified me I'm scared. It's not like bad it's just something I'd personally never listen to. 6.5/10

M: Uhh yeah I’m just not the biggest kpop fan. I don’t dislike it, but I definitely don’t go out of my way to hear it. I definitely have a disconnect when I can’t understand the lyrics though so it was tough to get super into it. Also like Krista said, the translated lyrics were like.. kinda off? I think the production was great and I liked the vocals, everything else I could leave though. I will say that I think this artist is pretty talented, at least based on this song. 6/10
K: K-pop is just not my cup of tea no matter how much I want to try to like it. Like all credit to them they go hard when it comes to production value and actually have talent but it's not my favorite. Also I might have just been having a stroke but the translated lyrics were hard to follow as well. Maybe one day I'll be a K-pop stan. 6/10
