Can we stop referring to all people on the spectrum as if we all have the same characteristics as other autistic people? I’m on the spectrum, as well, it’s different for everyone. I think I’m able to use my different brain to the best of my abilities to clearly see the playing field in games. Not all autistic people are bad at reading people, I think I can be good at reading a persons position in a game or life as a whole.
Also irl MANY autistic people can read people well, in fact, people on the spectrum that I’ve come across have been incredible at realizing when a person might need some emotional support. Maybe they do and maybe they don’t. Doesn’t matter. I know for myself, I’m really good at getting people to trust me because I’m such an open book and I know a lot of that has to do with my Autism, we all use our superpowers that being on the spectrum gives us differently
In the end, all autistic people are just people and all people are different so can we shut up and stop generalizing about an entire 1/6th of the population already?
I wanted to comment this earlier because I have a cousin who is autistic and he’s really good at games when we play board games and can definitely distinguish stuff but didn’t want to involve myself. Def agree that not everyone is the same there
yup!!! my twin brother is also on the spectrum. I guess he's a bit deep but like anyone here he's also a person. stereotyping people on the spectrum not only makes yall look bad also the people who are deep into it. its offensive and weird. ur a king
