Hello contestants! Congrats on making it past the first round and thank you for being open to me in your music taste! I really did enjoy all of it and am excited to see what you for this round! :)
This round is called “Take Your Pick!” and it’s pretty simple! A special genre of music that I personally love is any artist who uses guitar as their main instrument in a song, using primarily the picking method. This kind of music is perfect for calmer and relaxing songs, so that’s what I’m challenging y’all to do in this round! Pick a song where the artist is singing with a guitar as the primary instrument in the background using the picking method. There can be other instruments/song elements in the recording but I’m personally looking for songs that are a bit slower and stripped down :)
You have 24 hours (when the blog expires) to send in your tunes! Also, as usual, there will be NO immunities rewarded for winning a round. If you have any questions about this round just contact me and I’ll make sure to answer any questions!
Good luck!
Edit: It doesn’t have to be acoustic guitar and for all rounds I’ll allow covers/non original versions
