Not necessarily the fan favorite of Season 8 but damn it, she was MY favorite! After watching the Meet The Queens videos, she was IMMEDIATELY one of my favorites and that didn't change throughout the whole season. Yeah, she slayed the competition and it was predictable that she would win, and normally that would turn me off (Alaska in All-Stars 2), but this time I didn't care!
She had close friendships with nearly all of the queens on her season, even Derrick who she started off not liking. That goes to show how great she is. Thorgy was super jealous of Bob and was being pretty arrogant at the end and what did Bob say after Thorgy left? "Oh that's just Thorgy, I still love her and I'm going to miss her." Like how much better of a person can you be?
Also let me just say that the lip sync between Bob and Derrick is criminally underrated and might be THE most underrated lip sync in the entire show in my honest opinion. That's why I'm posting it below.
Bob said somewhere in an interview, I don't remember which one, that the most important thing is to always remain humble, and I feel like she's done exactly that throughout her stardom thus far, and it's amazing to see.

How could you not love this crazy psychopath? She's like the Tammie Brown of this (for lack of a better word) "era" of Drag Race.
Her mind is always constantly jumping around from one thing to another. At first, it was hard to understand, but now... it's still hard to understand. But I just don't question it anymore! It's HILARIOUS.
It was great to watch her in Season 7 because you just knew that she wasn't expecting to go as far as she did. Also in interviews and stuff, she says she was really stressed out throughout that whole experience, which is crazy because she kept her composure through the whole thing! Well, she was still a nutcase, but she could have easily lashed out at people because of her stress and she didn't. That shows how much of a good person she is.
In All-Stars 2, I'll admit, I was totally 10000% Team Katya at the end of it. In my head, I knew Alaska HAD to win for statistic reasons. But my heart was saying, pleeeeeeease let Katya win! She didn't win, but she made it all the way to the end which was super cool because you could tell she wasn't as stressed out and she wasn't in her head as much, so it felt like she could enjoy the experience more.
I could ramble on for days about this bitch but I'll leave it at that!

I don't get ready, I stay ready.
This queen was a COMPLETE surprise for me. After watching her Meet The Queens video for Season 8, I chose her as my least favorite one of the bunch, and I thought for sure she would be one of the first to go. But when the season aired I was like, damn she's actually really likable! And as the season progressed, I really found myself rooting for her.
I really felt for her when she broke down about not having money and it was so nice to see the other queens and judges picking her up and giving her that push to keep going.
It was weird because Thorgy was one of my early favorites and I started off not caring for Chi Chi. But in the Final 6 when it was Thorgy vs. Chi Chi, I realized I was rooting for Chi Chi, and I think that was Chi Chi's breaking through moment. She realized she really was up to par with these queens and could make it to the end.
God, I remember how bummed out I was when Ru sent her packing at the Final 4. I knew there was no way she would win but I just so badly wanted her in the Top 3!!!
Luckily, she's back for All-Stars 3 and is more polished now look-wise since she has money! I'm hoping that gives her the extra edge she didn't have in Season 8 and it pushes her to the top.

I love Tatianna and I love the growth she showed between Season 2 and All-Stars 2. In Season 2, she was immature, hardly had done drag for that long, and it showed. In All-Stars 2, SEVERAL years later, she had grown and it showed in both her drag and her maturity.
The best part about All-Stars 2 was how much the other queens IMMEDIATELY underestimated her, and then she came out in the talent show with The Same Parts and SNATCHED everyone's wigs off of their heads. I was COMPLETELY bald. I was so annoyed when Alaska wrongfully eliminated her not once, but TWICE. Both times she didn't deserve it.
And that lip sync between her and Alyssa??? LEGENDARY. One of the best that has graced the stage. I'm just glad she got recognition after All-Stars 2 and was able to introduce herself to the newer fans. And I'm happy that they love her!

Hi Manila! I just saw Manila gurl.
I fucking love this bitch. Before Season 9, Season 3 was the only season I felt like the win could have went to either one of the queens. Raja and Manila had the same exact stats by the finale and it truly came down to the final lip sync and who Ru thought fit the brand better. Now, Raja is GREAT but Manila just looks like a winner to me, as if she should be in the winner's circle. There's just a certain uniqueness to her that NO other queen has. She's fashionable, eccentric, comedic.. what more could you ask for?
I WISH she didn't do All-Stars 1 and waited for 2 or 3, she would have benefited so much more from it. Maybe one day they'll let some All-Stars 1 queens re-compete due to how poorly it was set up? One can only hope. Just give Manila a crown, damn it!
