That I took the manager job officially and will be changing restaurant in 2 weeks.
I had the interview Thursday at 9amest, got called a little after 11amest that I got it ^,^
I had ironically got my sign I was looking for Wednesday evening while working, as one of the students asked me “what would happen if the current manager left or died?” Flabbergasted by the random question, I took a few moments to register the question, responding with “I would presume one of the ass. Managers would, though as they are sisters and don’t seem to want to do that, they would probably leave.” And he randomly goes to the schedule, stating “well, what about the supervisors”?
Now, how this is a sign is 1- I was in my thoughts about how I would feel about managing at the new job 2- I never told anyone really in person about the job details and 3- I am under Supervisor, on the schedule he looked at.
That was what solitified I was changing jobs, taking this opportunity to get the experience on my resume, after only having one job for nearly 5 years on it, as of now.
So, I am excited for this new job, to hopefully get me much closer to my ideal goals of leaving my town, in the very near future.
