Ethan, it's a murder mystery game that has a LOT of personality.

You can't really binge it, as it's a game series (3, to be exact, or 4 if you count the spinoff.) There are ports of all of the games on Steam. It's worth it, and I really suggest it.

The order you should do it in is the following:
Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc (the anime is shit, don't)
Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair
Ultra Despair Girls (not necessary)
Danganronpa 3: Hope/Despair Arcs (Alternate, first going Despair 1, then Hope 1, Despair 2, Hope 2, and so on)
Danganronpa V3

There are light novels too, but they're not necessary.

Ethan000 play the game. It explains it WAY better.

If you can't play the game, watch a YouTube playthrough. The anime skips over some serious stuff concerning plot development.
