Wow…2 decades old…when I put it that way I feel like I’ve lived for forever! I know that a lot of people are gonna say that turning 20 is "just the beginning of life” and to be honest they’re right; it is just the beginning, and I’m excited! And while I do think I’m finally starting to be a responsible adult in everyday life, I at the same time feel like I’ve gone through the wringer and back as far as life goes. Especially these past 6 months which have been pretty rough. But I’m finally getting my footing here where I moved, things are working out job-wise, and I just all-around feel…good! It’s just a huge sigh of relief tbh
As far as the future goes…I have no way in knowing what it has in store for me, but I’m ready to take it by the reins and hopefully steer it in the best direction for ME. I’m hoping to go back to school soon with this money I’ve saved up, maybe go to a school in Virginia??? That’s not totally set in stone yet, but a very good possibility! I’m also excited because I may be moving in with Mybash_ in the near future???? Spoiler alert! (sorry for outing it Chris haha) We’re both kind of in need of roommates and it’s all kind of weirdly worked out?? And we’ve known each other for my entire Tengaged existence so it’s honestly not weird at all.
So yeah! There’s definitely a lot I hopefully have in store for me, but most importantly I’m happy to finally be focusing on myself :)
I also want to give a very special shoutout to some other birthday twins <3
Coming on to this site almost SIX years ago, I can certainly say that I didn’t think that I’d meet so many amazing and memorable people. But I was pleasantly surprised and ended up finding a few diamonds in the rough that were worth talking to <3
So to all of you that have made this experience worth it…I from the bottom of my heart appreciate you :)
And if I ended up missing you on this list, I’m sorry, I’m just tired and I open the store at my work tomorrow but I wanted to post something to show my appreciation for you all :)
It seems so strange society really celebrates 21. I've always thought of 20 as so so cool, because as you've said its a complete two decades and you won't feel that completeness on your birthday until you're 30 haha
