It would be nice if players without designs could have an opportunity to buy a design once in a while. I understand it's a lot of work to spam designs to get discounts to be able to afford to bid on shops.
The purpose of shops is to be able to purchase designs. The players of Tengaged have not been able to do that on a regular basis for some time. When shops have had designs they have been priced so high most lower level players can't afford them.
I understand wanting to gift your friends. I don't understand using those same friends to eliminate your competition when someone does try to post designs for everyone. Now we are just seeing shops that gift other people every week.
Something needs to change to make Tengaged more fun for everyone. I am forwarding this message to shop owners from the players of this site and I hope shop owners can do something to make shops more fun again.

If someone gets a shop, they can do whatever the hell they want to with the shop!
I have bid on shops and posted designs for the public sjsoccer88. So your opinion is it's okay to not have designs for players to buy for themselves every week?
In the previous weeks i posted around 470 ts, ik its not low but It isnt even that expensive since the designs i posted sold for 700+ in past :) then i also gifted my friends obv :* love ya
That would be fair Diva1. I think prices this week will be crazy since there's 5 shops competing, including mine & I really want to move on since I'm kind of broke. :S
There should be a difference between gifting shops and public shops. Gifting shops would be able to post designs for 1 to 50 Ts. Public shops would only be able to post from 250 or 300 to 1000 Ts. There would be 6 public shops and 2 gifting shops each week.
I don't think there is anything wrong with gifting friends Chips47. It just seems like all of them do it every week so there are never designs for other players to buy:(
My other complaint is shop owners are penalized for posting early in the week if they are competing. Now the top shops just agree among themselves who goes forward each week. That is one of the reasons other designers are not bidding on shops:(
Ugh, I agree completely, Vickie! I remember when shops were actually fun, 5/6 shops would compete, people bought designs and stuff. It's really sad now! I go to the gifts page, and see the same people being gifted. There needs to be a gift shops game, and a competing shops game. And when you bid in the shop, you select competing or gifting. :)

whoever gets a shop should be able to do what they want with it without being expected to post low. honestly the whole point of this site is to work your way up to a point where you actually can afford the designs that are posted in shops. if we made it easy for noobs to get designs then that is basically defeating the purpose of designs and the entire system kind of becomes stupid
and you yourself should know very well that randomize would never make a change that makes it less likely for people to buy $T
I agree, and I also don't like how some shop owners ONLY or MAINLY post female designs or male designs. I miss people posting a mix of both, and it seems like most people don't do that anymore
Maybe there should be a limit to how many times a shop can move on? Cause i think the main problem is no one thinks they can compete with the people who have shops all the time so they dont bother trying and then those people can just post 1-2 designs and gift everything else and still keep their shop for the next week and do it all over again.
ily Diva1 i hope randomize does something to improve the system, although a solution is very hard to obtain imo. if shop owners do post for some low prices there are high levels which would buy them immediately. so there needs to be a solution to actually help the noobs of tengaged that join now
If shops were easier to get I would do this....but because it's so hard to get a shop nowadays I would want to either compete or gift because spamming eight designs into labs is hard enough OR saving for a month
The shopping game use to be my favorite thing on here, now it has just gone to shit. I dont think randomize has any idea how hard it is to get discounts, I dont have days upon days to spam designs into auctions. It isnt even fun anymore, hence the reason I never play on this site anymore.
something i have suggested in the past is that shops should be required to post 1 design a day. (they can post more than 1 if they want) but 1 a day would be required or they lose their stock. That would help the waiting game.
& I agree about gifting EVERY week....but I don't really think there is a way to fix that.
Maybe randomize could have like......5 competing shop spots.......and 3 gifting shops? And the people who are bidding would have to select from a drop down menu which kind of shop they are bidding on.
There has also been an idea about having shops by tiers....I don't know if this will make sense over typing but ill try.
1st tier- 900t$ bid- 2 stock (10 designs total)
2nd tier- 1500t$ bid- 4 stock (15 designs total)
3rd tier- 2000t$ bid- 6 stock (30 designs total)
4th tier- 3000T$+ 8 stock (40 designs total)
This would also help how much shops cost. Sure, the 900t$ shop might be hard to get, but you have the choice to spam/pay more for a better chance at a shop. But again, this is a coding issue and something that would need to be worked out with randomize :(
It would be nice if there was a way to have room for more shops brookie_cookie. I'm not sure that would change anything though. He increased the shops and it didn't help. I'm not sure shop owners should be limited on how they want to post designs either:(
