Another Philosophical Question

May 23, 2013 by Deaver
Why are "ugly" people not allowed to call other people "ugly"?

Surely "ugly" people are the "experts" of what is "ugly" and what is not.
It's like saying black people can't call each other the "N-word" but everyone else can call then the "N-word". It's contradictory.

It is one thing for someone to degrade themselves by calling other people ugly.
But it's another to retort by calling the offender ugly back.
Not just calling the offender ugly, but saying that because they are ugly, they have no right to an opinion.

It is just terrible.

We all have opinions on looks. There's no point in acting like you don't just to try to look socially acceptable.

Oh yeah, the question was this:
"Why can only attractive people define what is ugly?"
Or rather.
Why is there a universal ugly?
