The submissions this week were nice, I was impressed and I am glad it was such a variety in genres. I was introduced to new music that I enjoyed.
NOW TO THE RESULTS.

Austin F ( Austino15fffan) - “The Joke” by Brandi Carlile
Darrius - I think the song choice was good, like I said I’m not against country in any way. So beautiful song choice, but when it comes to live performances…I do think her voice was very shaky at some parts.
Mike - I really like her voice and this performance was very nice and simple. She can tell she was really enjoying herself and I love the little feel of the blend of rock and country.
Paige ( paige54) - “Ungodly Hour” by Chloe x Halle
Darrius - UGH THIS IS SO GOOD. From the vocals, harmonies, outfits, choreo. They served in every department.
Mike - the outfits, the lights, the vocals! Everything about this performance was a serve! Great choice hun
Christian ( Christian_) - “Shallow” by Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper
Darrius - Okay for one…I love this song so much. Like used to have it on repeat. But this performance was sometimes missing something, I wanted softness and it was very hard LOL. But the ended definitely saved it. Lady Gaga is so talented and watching her slay the keys while belting out those notes left me in awe.
Mike - such a beautiful song accompanied by a beautiful performance. I loved them coming up from the audience and Gaga on the piano! There were bits were I feel like some of the vocals were a little off but overall it was a good performance. I think Bradley maybe wasn’t too confident going into it so that energy was a little off but I think the chemistry between the two of them may have helped it slightly.
Andrew ( iigalaxyii) - “Don’t Start Now” by Dua Lipa
Darrius - When I think of a live performance…Dua Lipa is not the first person I think of. But I think she proved to me that she can do a little something, I loved the choreo and she looked HOT. She’s not the best dancer but I couldnt even tell but she looked like a star.
Mike - I love that she keeps her choreo pretty simple because most of the time she gives me stiff. But as always, her vocals were on point and she delivered a solid performance.
Congratulations, you 4 have made it to WEEK 8. Moving on to the Top 2.
Silver ( silver09) - “God Is A Woman” by Ariana Grande
Darrius - First of lets talk about the story development within this performance. It felt as if she was telling me a story just by the actions. Along with looking sickening, this was a SERVE. The poses, the choreo, the FASHION!
Mike - now this is a PRODUCTION! From jump you knew this entire performance was going to eat. The synchronization of all of the dancers, the vocals, the setting and then she brought out mama and gma. Ari knew what needed to be done and did exactly that
Darrius - To sing this song in the studio is one thing but to sing it LIVEEE!!?? She kept raising her key and going higher and higher, she is the most talented woman on the planet earth I do NOT CARE what anyone has to say about it. And to top it off she announced the pregnancy of her FIRST child during this performance ugh the feels. Great Job.
Mike - first of all, the fact that she was pregnant and performing like this!! I know my good sis just wanted to go to the back and put her feet up after this. She ate the choreo, the octave changes wore me out, the outfits were on point. I can’t find a flaw. drops mic
AND THE WINNER IS...... PINKIE!!!!, there is no longer any immunities but you should still be proud. Congratulations to you 2 for representing the Highs of WEEK 7
Now...to the Bottom 2 :
Sub ( sublegendd) - “You Broke Me First” by Tate McRae
Darrius - I have NEVER heard of this song or this girl before but you may have just put me on. I love the choreo, she’s eating and she seems very confident. The only thing is she seems like shes lip synching.
Mike - I can’t remember where/when I first heard this song but I love it and I love what she did with this performance. It wasn’t too over the top but it was still a well put together production. Is she singing live though? If she is, amazing job. But if not, you missed the mark.
Austin Minaj ( itsaustin) - “Glitter in the Air” by P!nk
Darrius - Call me crazy but I’m not a big fan of this performance lol. I think it was beautiful how she was like all in the air and shit, but like the song was kinda boring and the performance as well. I kinda laughed when she had the water on her cause she looked like a fish out of water LOL. But I know P!nk has better so its kinda upsetting :/
Mike - aww she looks like a cute little angel, and the silks!! We have to stan. I can’t imagine giving vocals while spinning up in the air, doing tricks, and probably scared shitless not to fall and just doing it all so effortlessly. Definitely not the strongest of the bunch but I enjoyed it
So with that being said.....the contestant going home is.....Austin Minaj. So sorry but your submission this week was outshined by the others. Love you babes.
And Since I came up with last weeks theme, it is now Mike's( forcemike1) turn to pick.
Week 8 Theme : Male & Female Collaborations/Duets. (A song that has a male and female in it. thats it.) Obviously no songs that have already been submitted.
