no one is saying they don't care about those who are losing their livelihoods. what IS being said is that the businesses being destroyed (which are mostly chain businesses w white ceos) are so so so much less important than the real issue - the millions of black lives this country has taken and continues to take
All businesses regardless of color are being destroyed you are witnessing a total collapse of the police system, cops are not answering for their crimes, so civilians are now not answering for theirs. You cannot expect people not to loot and destroy things if we cannot expect the 4 officers involved in his death not to be persecuted. Does that mean I condone the destruction, no. However, that is why it is happening and will probably continue to happen until something drastically changes with the police in America.
